The fact that you did an exercise and got an unexpected result just tells you how shitty it is.

Skullcrusher/overhead extensions hit all three heads of tricep effectively. Something normal pressing lack.

Skullcrushers where you lower the weight to behind your head rather than over it are literally the best exercise for triceps

i do behind the head skull crushers with some close grip benching til exhauation as a super set and it makes my triceps maasive. people who do skullcrushers over their face have to use lightweight and i never see them go up. ill see some people looking at me like what is he doing? like they have no conception of how the body works and that you can vary a lift to what works better. its like they think somehow its not the triceps still doing the work and yet mine are on fire.

I want to do this too (standing) but I've reached the point where its too heavy and I can't keep my head straight, any tips? It gives me the best pump, feels like my arms double in size

dont do it standing. i do it with my head at thd very edge of the bench. raise the bar over your head and slowly angle your upper arms back until theyre around 15 degrees behind your head at least. then begin the movement. avoid as much as possible your upper arms coming back up to 90degrees (above your head) as this is a resting position. if your arms stay behind your head your triceps will remain firing. your lats come into this holding position aswell but only to help hold the position, your triceps beyond that are doing the actual movement. i use an EZ curl bar cause thats what makes my wrists happy. grip it like a bicycle.

You're basically doing an overhead tricep extension, laying down, fricktard. That's superior anyway

Yeah, you can go heavy as frick too. Just one of the few things rip is right about. I do 80kg for 12-15 reps usually

this fricks my elbows though. They made my triceps grow the most but eventually it felt like I was going more harm than good

start with high reps and finish off each set with close grip press using same weight at same rep range. i recommend 15 in 3 sets as the goal. focus your mind on keeping your wrists torqued and stable do not let your wrists give in. do not go too heavy too quickly.

I love the DB pullover, I see it getting some love among other people that are advanced in my gym a month or two after I started doing it and even if it does nothing it feel really great on the lats. I do full ROM (the db sometimes touches the floor) with 6-10 reps.

I never see anyone doing these, but it feels amazing. I really feel it in my upper chest. I call them Plateplaps since it kinda looks like you're fricking the plate.

adding weight to abdominal exercises, cutting and starving yourself to look ripped isnt necessary if you're already atleast under 15% bodyfat, just train your abs and add weight so they can grow bigger and stronger just like any other muscle.

      this!

I like grabbing a weighted cable 20/30/40 lbs kinda like a Pallof Press (also underrated) twisting from one hip to the other without turning the hips.

Obliques feel great and help fill out kinda like that statue.
