Never had it. Explain. Are you in horrible chronic pain or do you do all the lifts wrong or something?
I feel great after a good workout.
I feel great and calm after a good workout but once I slow down I then begin to see absurdity in this life and how it's only going to get worse a long with how alone I really am.
Good, you fee like that because you refuse to acknowledge and get to know your all powerful and loving God. At least your mind is aware you're missing something
Not interested in Abrahamic religions. Thanks anyways.
enjoy a life of depression moron
I would hate god even if he was real, actually the argument of whether he is real or not doesn’t seem important to me, the real question is why is he real if he is? What does that mean for life if he is real? Forget that epicurean crap about god logically being bad or nonexistent, if god exists then what does that really mean for us, that life is just a pointless purgatory before the next life? And if there is no next life, what does he even mean to us, nothing more than a human means to an ant. Really it is the afterlife I mainly have a problem with, and the implication that life is purposeless that comes with it. I like the idea of a dumb stupid god, like an all powerful moron, like a body without a head, a divine power that can be taken into the hands of evil and so it must be protected by the good, that is a religion I could get into. Unfortunately all religions seem content with life having no purpose because there is an afterlife, buddhism seems superior in its negativity trying to escape life altogether, but that is really shitty too, winner of the special olympics level.
>Buddhism
Well, you're right about that, Buddhism is basically the anti-christian religion. If the purpose of Christianity is the salvation of your eternal soul, Buddhism's is to literally off yourself indefinitely. It really is like something satan woke up one day and thought about.
But I digress that there's no purpose to Christianity, it isn't about being a good boy so you can be happy in the afterall. It's rather about becoming like God in all things except His divine in the same way he became like Man in all things except sin, which are things of God and Man's nature only. All so at the end of the world you shall not die but live on in a world without end. If you ask why I wouldn't be able to answer though, since only God has an answer and that's also why this is a matter of faith. To believe or not and act on your beliefs is a choice that you're meant to make.
I respect abrahamic religion strength, it is a relatively unique faith in that it holds the belief that you are evil and only you can defeat evil, whereas most other religions see evil as external and to be avoided and escaped. It is not surprising that Christianity conquered the globe with this attitude of self discipline. All the same I find the idea of an afterlife extremely distasteful, not because it makes people who believe in it look shallow but because of the redundancy of it.
Yeah yeah like I said, the debate about whether god is real or not isn’t relevant to me, it makes no difference to me whether there is a god or not. Everything you are saying in this post is more reasons I hate christianity though, I hate this orwellian freedom is slavery routine, this is why I call commies secular christians because you both engage in the same twisted language of freeing us from freedom. Nietzsche echoed similar sentiments against christians and socialists, so did Ayn Rand, claiming socialism is just christianity but sublimating god for the government as a miracle worker. Unlike you people I don’t want a paternal figure in my life, I don’t find comfort in that idea and if anything I think we should only be more worried with a protector over our heads. It’s not that I don’t like being good, I like that part of religion, I like justice, I just don’t want to have a sky daddy. This is why I said I like the idea of a dumb god, and a religion that is about fighting evil from taking the reins of this god. No afterlife, just this life with comprehensible purpose.
Might be the cases for some religions but Jesus is an historical figure who we know died on the cross believing he was fulfilling prophesies made thousands of years ago and whose very own disciples suffered agonizing pain and torture claiming he had resurrected...mind you this is all historically proven. This is why Jesus is the Truth, the Way and the Life. He is the only God to come down and show us his incredible love by humbling himself and dying for us. If Jesus is real what does it mean for life? Firstly, every decision you make matters. It either pushes you towards God or away from him, it either makes you be part of his mission to save the world, or Satan's to destroy it and everything beautiful in it. It is a test, God is merciful, he already did the hard and impossible part for us by dying for our sins, all we have to do is accept him and obey him. By obey, he shows us the real way, his commandments are not slavery but freedom. Any person suffering from Lust or porn addiction knows that he is enslaved. Don't get me started with the pathetic religion of buddhism escaping suffering altogether.
Now look what the Truth is:
"Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us."
How more badass is that, and how much more Truth is it?
>mind you this is all historically proven
And so was the Holocaust. But whatever helps you get through life not being an abusive butthole to others.
yeah Holocaust...same people tried to silence the resurrection of christ as a israeli sect conspiracy. Surely you must take their side on this
t. delusional incel fell for the scam
>swapped his ancestral religion for evangelical internet atheism
>why am I not happy???
Sounds like the problem isn't the workout but your lack of quality aspects outside of fitness.
You could sell your soul to yahweh I guess. Or you could just never stop working out. Or, you could go out and find some meaning, make some memories, take some chances, actually live a little.
Good luck with whatever.
That's the thing as I continue to get older it just becomes increasingly more difficult for me to achieve those experiences. It all just weighs so heavily on me.
>post workout mania
>tfw get both because i have bipolar depression
If you're not fat this means you need to eat more
If you are fat this means you need to eat less junk food and more clean food
>mid/late workout anxiety from all the people around you and lack of adequate sleep
this tbh cramped and crowded stuffy gyms are the worst bro
>find out gymcrush has a boyfriend
I suffer every day now and my lifts have went down, breaks are longer and I slouch.
You probably just need protein and carbs.
It’s because lifting literall stresses the body. Eat meat and recover
Lately I've been crying in the gym.
I used to get this often about a year ago but it never happens anymore idk why
My head is fine, but my heart is something else. Does anyone know if there's a point where you don't have to ingest so much protein anymore? I don't know if my butt can take this forty years from now.
Most of the time I feel happy and get an endorphin rush when I'm lifting. But sometimes I get an intense and violent mood swing and start tearing up and get really dark thoughts. It never lasts more than ten or so minutes though. Does anybody else get that? It doesn't happen often, maybe once a week or once a fortnight.
Sounds like a blood sugar problem. You might be doing too much relative to the amount of energy you're putting in. Fluctuations cause depression, anxiety and irritability. Eat an orange after your workout.
>people follow the Christian faith for two millennia
>are happy and well-adjusted, build Western civilization
>people reject the Christian faith for one generation
>depressed, degenerate, no purpose, single-handedly destroying what their ancestors built for them
But yeah this is totally God's fault
