>Shampoo once a week >Oil my hair with Olive Oil two to three times a week >Conditioner several days a week >Brushing twice a day >Clean with water everyday
Olive Oil is an amazing natural conditioner. Makes your hair strong, smooth and makes it grows faster. Try it.
>shower >poo or no poo depending on how recently I pood it >dry it with towel >style it while still somewhat damp
it's gotten long and it's gonna get hot again soon so i'm probably gonna get a crew cut or short mullet
>Vanity always seemed like a womanly thing
Yeah bro, kings of old decked out in israeliteelry, the finest textiles etc were such women.
Stop coping and start taking care of your appearance, you fricking loser.
Some people are about looks, others are about results. I'm not a Hollywood actor, and your judgment does not matter to me at all. Only God's judgment truly matters.
Not going to conform to a vain and selfish culture to be accepted by miserable people like you who would hate me for what I truly am anyways.
To me, that is losing. Being a mental slave to the desires and expectations of a sick society, instead of being truly free and living the life you choose of your own free will, and succeeding at it.
I rinse my hair with water like once a week tbh. And every other week I'll use protein conditioner and a bit of coconut oil after
I have wavy hair type
Just today I learned that people who have straight hair can literally get away with shampooing everyday and not even conditioning.
I'm seriously considering getting a keratin treatment done. No matter how complicated the hair routine gets, it's still hard to control wavy/curly hair meanwhile people with straight hair barely have to care for it.
I've heard from some guys that doing nopoo can result in chronic folliculitis. I also think your hair probably smells with nopoo but you can't smell your own hair so you don't know. I'm currently growing out my wavy/curly hair but I'm not exactly sure how long I want it to be or how to style it, it's a pain in the ass.
I've been doing it for 5+ years and don't have scalp issues. My hair smells like hair and oil according to other people I've asked. You can always add something else to your routine like a perfumed oil or apple cider vinegar, but I don't care that much. All I know is that before quitting shampoo, my hair was extremely dry and frizzy, and now it's not
Yeah. Whenever I condition, I get everything fully conditioned, scrunch the hair, leave it in for 5ish minutes, do a quick rinse, and then squeeze the rest of the water/conditioner out (typically leaves a little in, so get a conditioner that can be used as leave in conditioner), and then air dry.

you squeeze the water out of your hair but then do you also use a towel to pat it dry or do you use no towel at all?

No towel. Towel drying makes it frizzy. Some people say you can use a t-shirt, but I've never done that.

Damn. I always pat it with a towel atleast a little bit. Otherwise it takes quite long to dry out. Do you also wet it everyday? I hate wetting my hair everyday

I work from home, so I don't really care how long it takes to dry. And yeah, I shower and wet it every day. I have massive bed head if I don't. I will say that my hair is a lot shorter than it used to be (~5 inches now compared to past my shoulders a year or so ago), but my routine hasn't really changed beyond the amount of conditioner I use.

Have you considered a keratin treatment? I did. Nice straight hair that is easy to slick back sounds good to me.

No. I like my hair, and it's easy to take care of.

I let it do whatever it wants. No product. It's the one feature that I get compliments regularly for
I have his same hair but a little longer
My routine is 1-2 times a week >rinse with water >shampoo >condition >while conditioner is in hair, comb knots out with a Afro pick >rinse conditioner out >after shower, spray leave in conditioner and put styling gel in hair >scrunch and shape it with hands >in between washes, don’t brush it and only use hands to shape it
Usually wear it down for 1-2 days after a wash and then just tie it up after that until next wash
>Shampoo once a week
>Oil my hair with Olive Oil two to three times a week
>Conditioner several days a week
>Brushing twice a day

What's your hair like (straight, curly, nappy, etc), and do you leave the olive oil in or rinse it out?
>What's your hair like
Like this
>and do you leave the olive oil in or rinse it out?
I wash it with water/shampoo after a couple of hours

Like what? Prince Charming from Shrek the Third?
Brushes 1x50
Ancient Germanic tribespeople brushed their hair.
Even the men, so it wouldn't get all knotty and plaited.
Is this vain? Nah, just traditional culture, keeping order.
Anyways that's how I see it, if you really care at all.
On the other hand, Slavic cultures had plaits.
This is called the Polish plait, believed to have spiritual properties.
They believed it had healing properties, that diseases left the body into the hair.
This is what happens if you don't comb your hair, gets all matted up and oily.

Why do you poo on your hair?
>Buzz cut once a month
>Wash with Irish spring soap every other day
Done

Shaved sides and back (high fade)
Medium length on top (spiked or messy)
Shampoo and conditioner once a month
Water once a day
NOT FITNESS RELATED REEEEEE
JANNY CLEAN IT UP!
why is my hair greasy af when I just wash with water but looks fine using conditioner? I shampoo every 3 days or so
I do not have a hair routine, do not care really.
Am just a redneck, big bushy beard, long hair as well.
This is just genetics, I did nothing for it, it just kinda happened.
Only wash it cause it gets scratchy, same with my beard.
Just use whatever shampoo doesn't matter to me.
Vanity always seemed like a womanly thing.

My ancestors were peasants
Nah vanity is feminine, you seem unhappy
I will not take your advice, you seem miserable
Why would I want to switch places with you really
I'm happy with who I am, maybe that's why

I have wavy bordering on curly hair and it's super easy. Just do nopoo and condition once or twice a week.
