Notice how every male in the 1900's had a body on the right because they had 0 microplastics, nor processed foods in their diets. Powerlifters would look like the guy on the right if they ate healthy but you can literally just look up a video of them stuffing the biggest amounts of goyslops down their system to get the needed kcals.
Lifting heavy objects, duh! I talked to this about a dude I worked with a decade ago, he told me he would happily be unable to lift a book if he got to look like prime arnold. Blows my fricking mind.
>posts a lifter in a weight class with no weight limit
Super heavyweights in any sport don't look good. Most people at <= 110kg weight classes look good in powerlifting
Don't tell the moron crabs.
My hypothesis is that the "haha powershitters" meme is either; >dyels that can't bench 2pl and mortally intimidated by the concept of a 3pl squat >roidtroons whose fragile dyel connective tissue cannot handle their fraud weights heavy
Training for strength and size is the same fricking thing until intermediate+ level as a natty. You do the same fricking compounds just in 5-10 rep range and try to get stronger there, then slap on some isolations, and adjust volume/frequency to whatever you can handle. Then at whatever time you can flip that into strength with small adjustments and a lower rep peaking phase. Or not.
1. This guy is a super heavy weight
2. Steve Reeves did a lot of "powerlifting" himself, since back then there wasn't really something that distinguished a bodybuilder from a powerlifter, since powerlifting per se didn't exist, so Steve Reeves did lots of feats of strength himself. It was expected from a Bodybuilder to have lots of strength aswell.

The powerlifter cant even run a mile without having a heart attack

Different fitness goals
Lifting heavier things fun
Simple as
I wish pull-ups became an official powerlift.
I'd think we'd get more balanced physiques that way.

Power lifting just looks gay.

Bruh, just fricken get a pump , go to failure n go home simple as
The real answer is that it's ironically more fun and motivating to chase numbers. Thankfully I stopped
