make a clay mold of the plastic lid and cast your own from aluminum, simple

    Why? The effects are negligible

Why though? Plastic leaching you get from containers is miniscule compared microplastics already present in your water, food, and even air.

      >microplastics in the food
there are none, the most harmful thing in food is the glue used in packaging.

You fricking moron, you inhale all of those things on a daily basis just alone from the friction that is caused by tires, also some of your cloths are probably made out of plasic. Being this schizo about removing everything related to plasic is delusional if you don't live in a remote location. Just try to make up by being active and eating healthy

didn't they find teflon in arctic ice? Our entire planet is israeliteed, adapt or die.

Try /misc/ anon. There you'll find people that neglect the basics but ate utterly obsessed with minor issues

Basically this. I've come to terms with the whole polyester clothing and shit because I got this far and never had low test symptoms. Work up a good sweat every day and that will help with the toxins. One day I want to get a sauna and indoor pool for my morning routine which will help even more.

so what are some things a person can do that would actually make at least some difference when it comes to preventing plastic or even any similiar toxic substances from entering your body and disrupting your hormones? Is just healthy food and active lifestyle the only thing I can do? Perhaps making sure my clothes are not made from elastoplolyvinylplastichormodisruptoxan?

It's not the "only" thing you can do, it's the only thing you need.

Lots of obese, unhealthy guys trying to run away from plastics but they don't even bother to get a six pack

I don't understand how we can know how bad plastics are for our health and the environment and still the concept of a total ban on single use plastics hasn't even begun to penetrate mainstream political discourse. At least here in America you'd think the same conservative politicians that go on and on about the dangers of giving children puberty blockers would care about there being literal endocrine disruptors in our water and in the packaging for the food we eat. Nope, not a word. Then maybe you'd think the left wing politicians would want to pounce on that silence to call them out. Nope, not a word from them either. No one is saying anything yet everyone knows it's happening.
I'm being facetious of course, I understand exactly why no politician cares about this. We've had the technology to produce aluminum, glass, and paper packaging materials for years, but nearly all of that has been phased out in favor of plastic packaging because it's cheaper. Companies don't care that they're poisoning us and gradually making the groundwater undrinkable, all they care about is maximizing profits. Stores are dependent on plastic packaging to transport and store goods with minimal effort. Politicians don't care to step in because a ban on single use plastics would reduce profits across the board in multiple market sectors, and then they'd be responsible for hurting the economy and unlikely to win reelection.
I wholeheartedly believe the plastic problem is the most pressing issue facing our species. Apart from total thermonuclear war (which is highly unlikely despite what the media will tell you) plastic pollution is the only thing that has the potential of making the world completely uninhabitable, and it's actually happening. The human race has the potential to literally sterilize itself if we keep this up, but as I've kept repeating, no one with the power to do anything about it seems to care.

      Pepsi-Coca politics. Americans are slaves
      >being literal endocrine disruptors in our water and in the packaging for the food we eat.
It's true, but it's nowhere as bad as you try to make it. For that matter it's negligible, the real issue with plastic is pollution

Why bother, in a 100 years human species will either:
      1. Turn into robots
      2. Pack up and leave to colonize other planets
      3. Invent a magic never die pill
      4. Become thoughtless Tesla(tm) brain-chipped cattle slaves
      5. Go extinct in a third world war
      6. Destroy the planet with some horseshit new tech like microscopic black holes
All of these solve plastic indirectly

        >Pack up and leave to colonize other planets
        Impossible even in 10milliom year
        >Become thoughtless Tesla(tm) brain-chipped cattle slaves
        Already are in the US

Virtually everyone is ALREADY brain chipped. Turns out it was a LOT easier to do than develop a surgically implanted cybernetic device. Just give them smartphones with social media and work the algorithm.

You can get them to do anything you want now.

    >toxic chemicals
You can't eliminate 100% but if you donate plasma regularly the saline they pump pack into you is cleaner than your blood so you can get down to lower levels.
In a study of fire-fighters that got israeliteed by pfas "forever chemicals" the regular plasma donators were able to remove the most the fastest.

use a spoon and a glass, dipshit.
Kids from the 70s and 80s made chocolate milk this way with powder and milk and it was no problem.

Let me give you a protip:
    1) Buy any stainless steel bottle (better yet, buy titanium bottle) you want.
    2) Put picrel (shaker ball, costs next to nothing) inside.
    3) ???
    4) Profit.
    5) Now you have your own perfect shaker.

    Bonus steps: stop being moronic.
Protip for a bottle brand: Keith Titanium because of the wide mouth and being for life. Don't buy stainless steel Nalgene, they have a dirty weld inside.
