        >my cousin's life changing manic episodes were bullshit
Probably. I've known people who claim to have incurable mental disorders and get all hysterical, but truth is they're just a whiney c**t he refuses to take respondibility for their life.

You need to stop browsing here unironically. Unless you see every post here as a joke, this site will destroy your mental health.

Every post here is a joke though? Are there morons that actually think anyone posts seriously here?

Ah yes, the skewed data and muh statistics and correlation bullshit

    Too many variables to consider

Icelandics live a different lifestyle and probably don't even test for bipolar disorders as much as countries like Germany.

Tons of lifestyle factors and eating fish is one tiny element

Yet all you see is more fish = less biopolar

frick off this graph means nothing

According to PUFA haters, countries with high sea food consumption should should see their population dying at 56 years old of heart disease looking like absolute shit.

    But then there’s Japan

A non-moron would look at the omega 6 intake, not the seafood consumption which is only a small subset of total PUFA intake.

Look up where there is a zinc deficiency, germany, hungary, italy etc. You are misinterpreting the data. It has frick-all to do with pufa consumption.

can zinc cure bipolar spectrum disorder ?

        Anonymous

There is no such thing. Bipolar disorder is just high-stress causing you to swing back and forth between a depressive state and an adrenal one. Principally it would then be caused by lifestyle and partially diet (pufa, starches, underconsumption of sugars would be risk-factors.

If you have any mental disorder you should micronutrient-maxx anyway
        Zinc 40mg
        Magnesium citrate 400mg
        Vit B complex
are the main ones. Get in yer fruits and veggies too.

Italy has 3.5x the bipolar rate as Canada despite having the same seafood consumption. Idk senpai, I'm just gonna go ahead and call bullshit.

Ok. So prescribe a fish diet to a bipolar whackjob and see if they get better.
Also I dont think alot of Arabs eat fish out in the middle of the desert yet they are strangely absent from this chart.

germany consumes nothing but pufa in form of foods fried in rapeseed oils (rancid and omega 6 high), pork heavy diet (pufa) and little to no real omega 3s. Yes, germans need more omega 3.

Hey OP you probably don't really understand statistics, but charts with only 12 data points have ZERO predictive power.

The only thing this chart tells me is that nations where it is profitable to diagnose and treat fake diseases are where fake diseases are most diagnosed and treated. Not exactly a shocking proposition.
