>quit playing vidya last year summer
>life has been improving a lot since then
>work out, read books, study for my degree
>now suddenly EXTREME urges to play some games are coming back
Bros, should I start playing again? There are some games which really really interest me.

I stopped playing games a year or two ago, only recently started again. I'll play a game for maybe 15 hours total and then get bored. I only play every 3 days or so, for me it's become a fun thing and it doesn't get in the way of anything
Yeah, the problem is that gaming had always been THE fun thing in my life. I cannot play casually for 1-2 hours. If I find a game I like I play 8-10 hours a day.
Its actually more fun if you set a timer and only play an hour a day. You get excited to play every day. Brought me back my love of games honestly.
Just like anything you quit cold turkey thr urge will come back around. You have to ignore it or just play casually. Nothing wrong w that. However if you were like me w Cherry Pepsi, I had to quit and NEVER. Have another sip of soda or I'll relapse hard. Going on 15 years now.
For the past 2 days I suddenly feel really sad about my ex gf. Feels really came out of the blue. Not only that, I suddenly really really want to smoke weed and drink alcohol again. Wtf bros? Is the timeline shifting or what?
It's a test, you either go back to your old ways or say frick that shit and push forward. The timeline you enter depends on you
nothing wrong in playing one hour or two a day, which games would you like to play?
This, moderation is key. If you feel yourself slipping into your old ways, quit instantly but nothing wrong with enjoying a bit of vidya here and there
OP here. I want to play League of Legends again. I already out in thousands of hours during my childhood. I am scared of going back. I am currently in college.
Ew why would you want to play that homosexual game. Might as well play world of tanks at that point
>I want to play asshomosexuals
imagine
ok, that's a strong no then
if it was some single player game to blow off some steam in moderation for a couple of hours every now and then it would have been one thing
but those "games" are designed to give addiction, steal every bit of your worthwhile time and devoid you of any social life
stay away from that israelite shit, you're stronger than that
go ahead, you'll likely get bored of video games after you've finished those few games you're interested in, unless they're MMOs which I don't recommend ever picking up
Inb4 thread where DYELs blame everything but themselves because they can't pull 5pl8. Yep it's the video games fault. Don't forget to take cold showers and nofap too and you'll definitely stop being a loser
DO NOT PLAY:
MMOS
GACHA
ANY LIVE SERVICE GAMES
GRINDY GAMES
Play games for the experience, not to escape or pass time.
What are some good experience games. Last one that sucked me in was disco elysium
Silent Hill 2
Mount and Blade Bannerlord is pretty comfy. I fire it up every other week or so, have a couple intense fights, progress my campaign slightly.
Also Witcher 3. I put in 100+ hours into that game over the course of 3 years, also read the books in tandem. Much better experience than binge playing it through.
Oh yeah Witcher 3 was probably the best game I’ve played in a while. Loved it so much I got physical Gwent cards. I finished the books as well. Trying to Bonhart maxx currently
Nier Gestalt & Replicant (avoid the fanbase)
gothic 2, thief gold, talos principle
Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines you will NOT regret it
same thing happened to me and I gave in but stopped again cause it just wasn't the same anymore idk, maybe you're just bored.
games will always be there, OP. especially now when multiplayer games either die on arrival or stay popular for decades. focus on getting through college first.
There is nothing good coming out stop lying. I just boot up some driving Sims now and again when I don't feel like burning gas in my real Camaro
play beat saber, and get a workout too 🙂
My problem was thinking that videogames were a necessity, to the point of them being a part of my personality, being a ISTgay and all.
After realizing that, I dropped the games for a while and now I only play for a couple of hours on the weekends
I prefer exercising or studying or work
My point being
Maybe you feel that videogames are a necessity for you, that they make "you" and you need them but you know the truth
Forget about them for a while
Or play them and realize that its not as fun as you they used to be
