>quit working out for a few months besides walking and yoga
>health improves, joints feel better, feel more energetic, happier, more hobbies and interests, ironically burning more calories because I am more active through walking

Am I really supposed to want to go back after this?

just be a lazy shit. I don't care

there's a reason why rich and successful people IN GENERAL do things like running, swimming, squash, tennis, and golf, rather than torture their joints by moving metal plates around like a robot.

this is a white person thing. Not a "rich person" thing. More so the running

You found what works for you. Throw in lateral raises and push-ups and you’re good

you fell for the heavy weight meme.

Maybe you were over doing it? How mucb weight were you moving? You don't need a ton of weight to get good muscle deffinition and size.

Wait wait wait, do we hate lift now?

It is terrible on your joints if you use too much weight. You can get just as much gains on less weight by doing progressive overload. If you are benching 200 lbs everytime you hit the gym don't be surprised when your elboes shoulders and wrist are fricked up. Just go in do 100lbs until you reach can't do it anymore drop some weight and repeat until you can't even move the bar.

      but they look like shit

Stop working so hard. Your ligaments, fascia, tendons, etc. need to recover just like your muscles do. Working out 2-3 times a week is more than enough.

but muh optimal volume and frequency

Am I really supposed to want to go back after this?

A mixture of Injuries and constantly being fatigued from lifting made me not want to go back. I quit lifting at 31. I say that I can go back to it but honestly I think why? It definitely isn't good for health compared to walking.

      Prime Gianna was something else

Mid 2000's was a very different time on the internet.

also i am more athletic because my joints can take more and my body is not constantly being ripped apart

      This.

    >become lazier, work output decreases, capacity for work output decrease along with drive, muscle/strength atrophies

You're lifestyle is less physically demanding and you've conflated that with
feeling athletic. You not fit, you're not athletic, you're out of shape, out of practice and the moment you resume lifting it would take a fraction of you what you previously lifted to humble and snap you. Muscle has two states only, atrophy and growth. If you lack the integrity to get back on the horse and would rather cope with your pathetic effeminate yoga "its okay 2 b weak :)" lifestyle, be my guest you degenerate weakling

      I'm healthier now

i took a 10 day break and everything felt the same except for breathing, i was able to take these very deep and lung filling breaths compared to lift times. is that normal?
