I'm assuming you mean a profiterole, the famous cream pastry created by the French? I wouldn't consider them to be IST approved, but like all French cuisine they're delicious and have spawned inferior imitations in other nations around the world.

I'm just pulling your leg my Swedish friend. I've never had a semla but I'm sure it's tasty.

''goyslop'' is something hyperprocessed full of sugar, HFCS, seed oils and trans fats.
Not random homemade/pastry shop caloric foods.

Swedes eat this once a year on a Tuesday "fat Tuesday bun" has a topping of mandelmassa inside the bun and its filled with cream in between.

i dont understand why we do this and its considered taboo to eat it on other days than on the fat Tuesday.

starting by boiling high fat milk below boiling point before pouring the milk down in a bowl with enough warm milk that its reaching the middle of the semla when you put the semla in the bowl of milk.

Semla is made with brioche, which was created by the french. Profiterole is made with pâte à chou, which was also created by the french. Semla is stuffed with crème chantilly, also a french creation.
