real talk, how bad is this shit for your health?

I am realizing that I am a loser neet and trying to turn my life around and quit bad habits and get fit and healthy now but I swear this shit is impossible to quit. day two of being clean from nic and I am feinding like a crackhead.

weed, alcohol, adderall, frick even porn is easier to give up than this shit. I swear to god they must put low doses of heroin or something in it.

right now I have a lot of anxiety so how bad would it be to just keep using until I get more fit and confident in my body and then quit, or do I just need to quit now?

    I think I read that snus is a lower cancer causing type of tobacco consumption due to the lower irritation to the gum line vs normal dip. Either way, any tobacco use can cause cancer. Not to doctor post but early gum disease can be checked with your dentist if you go often (2 a year). I used snus to quit smoking and dipping and now im off snus entirely so I support its use. The main issue is youre also associating anxiety relief from nicotine where the opposite is true since nicotine will raise your blood pressure.

      yeah my dentist said my gums are fine after 8 years of heavy snus use

      and yeah, snus fricks my cardio which is one reason I want to quit, I used to be able to run 4 miles easy last year when I quit and now can only make it 1 mile before collapsing

      I want to just get fit and cut and then quit, since it does help me control my appetite and I cant afford to get any fatter

        I like zyn/snus and I like cardio and I agree they don't go great together, however I don't think the difference is that dramatic. Have you tried running in the morning before your first nicotine? My first zyn of the day is generally necessary to defecate quickly, but then I can go for a decent little run without much interference from the zyn as far as I can tell. If you're father into the day and many snus's deep, I can see it being more of an issue.

      regular nicotine use even in the form of zyns fricks with my cardio and resting heart rate pretty noticeably
      I only use the 3mgs though so it's back to normal within like two days of abstaining

    Quit during college
    Smoke cig for a week preparing my presentation at work
    Not worth for a long run on nicotine. As soon as your body gets used to nicotine, quit it for a while (like half year). Works for me

    I started with dip, then snus, then paid a lot of money for nice teeth. Now if I use anything it's either white snus or zyn. Also the affect on blood pressure is real with it being a vascular dilator, which is why your cardio sucks as well. Much better to make it an occasional thing than a daily habit.

    swedish snus is fine, slight cardiovascular effects because nicotine is a vasoconstrictor but swedish snus has never been linked to cancer because they don't put a bunch of shit in it like americans
    it can/will cause gum recession but switching alternating sides can help delay that
