Realistically speaking why can't I just take a multivitamin everyday instead of eating fruits/vegetables?

I'm cutting right now and honestly can't really sacrifice the calories towards pretty much anything besides potatoes for carbs.

Why don't you try it instead of listening to a board full of pedos, weebs, fatties/ketolards, and autists?

Because usually there's at least one sane anon on here.

Most multivitamins are poor quality. They’re fine to fill gaps but shouldn’t be your main source for anything. Actual veggies contain water and fiber also.

I honestly don't know how I could squeeze in more fruits and veggies here without coming up short on some of my goals.
Fat intake is already way lower than I'd like.

You are welcome to try but we simply don't know enough about nutrition on a fundamental level to understand the major differences. The biggest gains for the fruit and veg are not skipping the digestion from saliva during the chewing stage, and the neurological benefit of somehow understanding you are eating something enjoyable. All in all you probably can survive on multivitamins, but why deprive yourself of what nature has given you for the sake of calories when we really don't understand the fundamental reasoning for diet composition?

This is that one sane anon you were talking about OP. Nutritional science is constantly shifting and what worked yesterday is poison today, who knows what tomorrow will say.

I'm pretty autistic about nutrition and unironically just eat what makes you feel good, is mostly in line with your ancestors, and trust your own judgment first and foremost. If something really seems like a bad idea (like canola oil) don't do it

they contain dozens of micronutrients that just aren't present in multivitamins, same reason why it's a good idea to vary your food choices instead of eating the same stuff all the time even though it'll "give you all the nutrients you need"

You don't need vegetables, fruits, or carbs at all.
Don't waste your money on supplements and just buy more beef, and beef liver once a week.

        Hello, Milton Mills.

How come your book never got published? Did the publisher back out of the deal after reviewing your book and realizing that 'comparative anatomy' is total nonsense?
