think again, moron. just because i willfully choose to not cooperate morally with the global economic kabbala, commit perjuries, acts of fraud, of exploitation or extortion towards other people to profit off of them and ''advance my socio-economic status'' doesn't mean I am low IQ.

It just means I want nothing to do with the world of grifting others, extorting them, taking advantage of others or commiting despicable acts such as lying, falsely representing facts etc.

I may live modestly but at least I am not a degenerate who 100% gets his income by committing immoral acts, whether you're a scientist defrauding facts, or a salesman defrauding services, or a business man defrauding clients, or a doctor peddling drugs for pharma checks....etc, etc.

My ''income'' may be little, but my entire conscience is clean and I am satisfied not having to live with the shit some people choose to do for money every day.

      t. I am one of the actually really scientifically tested as a kid, gifted children program, skipped grades, etc etc, with a very high IQ.
The existence of people like me negates your entire point, and it's called having a conscience and morals not to exploit others or deface truth for profit.

I am rich in other things.

Guaranteed social status max plan that is foolproof and any fitizen can follow to make life easy as possible. Expect 2 years for full impact.

    >improve looks
Lowest hanging fruit includes dental maxing and teeth whitening; retin-a and moisturizer; fin, min, dermastamping and HT is necessary; 12% or lower body fat

    >Hobby max
Join hobby groups and spend time to get good at the hobby. Pick two highly social hobbies and stick with them.

    >Create a regular event
A house party, movie night, foodie group, board game group, you name it. If you create an event and build that habit for other people, you'll be seen as a pro social organizer

    >health max
Lift at least 3x per week. Cardio at least 3x per week. Include mobility consciousness. Improve diet

I've said it once and I'll say it again

    People should value 3 things:

    Physical strength
    Status
    Appearance

Physical strength - I'm 2/3.5/4.5/6 for reps. In the gym you are literally displaying your worth. If I am stronger and more fit I am literally better than you. There is nothing you can do about it. You can not show your money in the gym. You can not do anything except lift the weight and put it down and if I'm doing more than you, you are below me

Status - my entire facade gives off alpha, top dog vibes. I'm 6ft, 210 jacked, elite hair genetics, clean, fitted clothes, white, and drive a 526 horsepower V8 track car that revs to 8,300 rpm. Everywhere I go I stand out. I'm objectively an 8.5/10 facially and make 6 figures a year @ 28 years old and own a house. If you make more than me you are either old or rentcuck some shitty apartment in a city

Appearance - see previous points. Appearance and status go hand in hand

I worry about these 3 main points and it makes me better than 99.99% of people around me

If you want to get butthurt instead of jotting down notes that's your problem not mine. Successful people mimic successful people, they don't mald - hence all the malding from IST losers

Your attitude suggests a lot of coping and is cookie cutter manosphere shit.

In scientific terms, your entire focus is on "prestige" status rather than "likeability" status. Likeability status, a focus on prosocial behaviors, tribe mediation, and adding value, is corellated more with well being, deeper friendships, self image, and stable mental health.

Your focus is on competence, which is s key part of charisma. But it is a siloed focus. The fact that you're talking about being better than 99% of people is an indicator that your personality is not very warm, which is another non-negotiable pillar of charisma.

yeah so that is why you feel so light and at ease, and that's good. People will do things for money and not realize the spiritual debt or emotional debt it incurs for them. Because despite our best efforts to dissociate, most of us have a conscience, and it catches back to us.
So even if you're in economic debt my friend, in a way your conscience is clean, your heart is not heavy, because you know deep down that you are not doing ''bad'', just materially struggling. You know what I mean?
I wish you the best too, take good care of yourself and your family. You will overcome, no matter your circumstances, because you have a happy and peaceful life, and that's all that matters.

Correlation is not causation. The likely reality is that the same behaviors that cause one to have low social standing in the first place are often the same ones that correlated to poor health. I.e. lesser ability for long term planning, impulsiveness, etc.
    >more likely to engage in unhealthy behaviors, such as smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, and poor dietary choices
is why they have a lower social standing. You're not going to become wealthy if you spend all your money on alcohol and cigarettes. You're not going to be healthy if you don't spend some time thinking about what you're going to eat and it's long-term impact on your health.

Alright IST unironically listen up to the only relevant information about this.

What OP posted is not demoralization, it's true. Social standing messes with your psych, messes with your hormones directly and indirectly, and therefore messes with your wellbeing.

However, the key thing to remember is that humans derive social standing relatively not objectively. The most alpha person in the room continues to have the benefits of his standing as long as the room stays the same.

But given we live in a hyper connected world now, how the frick is it possible then to stay top when you gotta compete with everyone with everything? Staying in a room is not possible. While that's true, doesn't mean having local pockets doesn't help. You gotta find things in your sphere to be top 25% in.

Take a job with a lower average performer to be one of the top workers. Join the planet fitness to be the strong guy. Learn an obscure hobby to be the best one at it that your social circle knows. Yes it's a 0-sum game, but let the idiots who don't realize be the ones who suffer for it.

If you've ever wondered why all those 200-250k earning guys at the tech companies are so fricking beta it's because they happen to be the bottom 75% of the tech company. And while they'd likely be smart, respectable, and liked everywhere else, that environment turns them into cucks, cause they always finish last there and they spend the majority of every day there. In the long run, they can't control how their brain interprets the world they're in.

The same thing honestly happens to fitness guys who keep climbing higher. If you change your goal posts all the time, you're never gonna be top 25%. And you'll never actually reap the psychological reward for all that work.

    So tl;dr
Get fricking good at shit. Make sure to always stick around normies to remind yourself you're lit.

    Which papers?
    > It is clear, and should be clear to anyone on this board, that social status is an extremely important aspect of life and health
As with a lot of socioeconomic issues, cause and effect aren't so easy to pry apart. People who make more can typically afford better care and time to take care of themselves. At the same time, people do positively bias their opinions towards people who look better, which creates a positive feedback loop.

It's almost if status is so important that humans instinctively (and often consciously) funnel resources to status increasing things if they're rich.

    Anonymous

I may be coping, but as someone who has been low status, then relatively high status, then back down to low status again, it isn't a big deal. It matters but it's not something to get too worried about. Even if you climb one rung of the ladder and can feel satisfied, it's only for a moment. Also to be successful you need to have the will to be successful and a lot of people don't have that. That doesn't make them stupid or inferior.
If so many people are not willing to even try to be successful and high status, that says a lot about how important social status really is. It isn't on people's minds half as much as you think. It's a real thing and people care but just not that much.

      Anonymous

Status is not important because others care. Status is important because in the long run your own subconscious brain cares, and it will adjust itself based on what it sees in your life.

Subtle things like having higher expectations of yourself and others. Confidence that things will just work out. Low anxiety about uncertainty.

The reason many people do not try anymore to become high status, because it's actually an existential psychic threat to the mind to do so. It is easier to never truly try and live with the "I bet I could but we'll never know cause I don't care" than to actually go toe-to-toe with the smart, the beautiful, the ambitious, the talented and get absolutely destroyed. Now without question you know without a doubt your place, and it IS beneath them (at least for the time being). Not many people can really come back from constant defeats like that with a healthy ego.

This is essentially what happens to ppl when they get blackpilled into oblivion. Getting blackpilled is not good, I support that cope is better than engaging truth if the result is getting demoralized to that state. The few who can tolerate being consistently destroyed and rebuild themselves are the only ones that really manage to the climb the ladder.

        >It is easier to never truly try and live with the "I bet I could but we'll never know cause I don't care" than to actually go toe-to-toe with the smart, the beautiful, the ambitious, the talented and get absolutely destroyed
Most people with high social status are not smart, beautiful or talented. But they are usually ambitious. They want to succeed and go up in the world, that's important to them. But it is not important to everyone, or most people - not important enough to drive most people to any action whatsoever. It used to be important and people would regularly risk their lives trying to get a foot on the ladder. But that just doesn't exist anymore. If you 'fail' you and your family will still live relatively comfortably.

          1. If you don't think the smartest people at places that value smart or the most beautiful people in the places that value beauty aren't high status, you're actually just fooling yourself.

          2. I agree that going up isn't important to everyone. But I think you may be mistaking that I am talking about status in a larger societal sense. No, status can be much more smaller than that. Status is important to the local sphere you define it to.

A man may not care if other men are better than him at work, if he does not place any value on that sphere. However, that same man could have a great deal of anxiety around making less than his wife because he perceives it makes him less of a man in the home. Or maybe a kid doesn't care about how he does at school, but losing to other kids at school at his favorite video game might actually make him temporarily depressed.

One of the key developments of humans over other social animals is our ability to choose which ladders matter. But just cause a person can reject a standard hierarchy of social status does not mean there are no social hierarchies the person cares about and can be affected by. It is simply the nature of all social animals.

If anything that is what a healthy ego is. You test your self and find our your limits. Being real about your capabilities and such and accepting it is what a healthy ego is.

          Anonymous

That's a fair point on the defintion.

I would say most people would not necessarily have a healthy ego, because most people have never been seriously tested. There is a very real difference between recognizing your limitations in an abstract declaration vs having that limitation shoved in your face daily.

Just to use work environments for example, the carefree guy who works at an average company who says he can't get into big tech and is happy with being less has been less tested than the guy who is permanently in the bottom rung of a big tech company and hasn't been turned beta by the day in day out experience.

      Fundamentally only 3 options

Existing circles - downgrade ones that aren't top 25% into slightly lower ones if possible. For example, going into lower positions at work, less competitive companies, less demanding companies. If you're only barely good enough to get in to a top job/program/school you should consider going down a tier potentially.

New circles - Find new circles to become top 25% in. Either tap things that you are good at but haven't tapped socially or do more uncommon shit. For example being the only one who cooks moderately well in a group that doesn't really cook at all makes you the top dog. Or if you have a particular talent that you've always regarded as not worth much -- find a group for it and see if there are people who do regard it as worth something.

Priorities on circles - Need to deprioritize things that you are not good and prioritize ones you are good at. How much you care about a given circle's status affects how import it is to you. This one might as well be read as cope, but iiwiw. This is the only real solution to certain blackpilled circles. For example if you're overly obsessed about money status and not good at making money (or worse something kinda unchangeable like height), you need to convince yourself to priorities to different status.

A list of autistic, hyper specific status hacks that will work in most situations is as follows. These are not supplements for the basics (physique, income, social circle). Context and results may vary. Each tip usually ties back to a broader evolutionary context that you can apply to just about anything.

    >Know how to play at least one instrument
Musical skill signals healthy genes and cognitive ability. A lot of hobbies are like this; we love competence. Music is universally beloved and one of the highest ROI hobbies you can have. Partner dancing is a perfect substitute or complement. When it comes to hobbies, I find it's better to Pareto Principle your way to intermediate, and then stack hobbies rather than trying to be the best ever.

    >Secretly become skilled at beer pong
The ultimate game of white normie social dominance. All affluent whites who went to college have an instinctual reverence for beer pong. Remember, you didn't practice. You just played it every once and a while with your buddies at school.

    >Have small memorabilia in your house that is from charitable organizations with unobjectionable causes
Subtle things, such as a cup, a coaster, or tote bag. This tip is not a wide net, but is selectively effective. When people are over, they may ask about it. This is where you get to tell them it came because you donated.

    >Always have a spotless interior for your car
Literally more important than the kind of car you drive (within reasonable bounds). This is more of a negative status avoider than a booster. But nothing makes someone cringe worse than getting a lift and watching you apologize, pick up random shit, and have food crumbs all over. Apply this same logic to your home. ESPECIALLY the bathroom.

      >Always be socially busy
Let me let you in on a weird secret: when I talk about a busy personal life and take a lot of PTO, my bosses and coworkers are more likely to respect my boundaries and give me less work, even though we never talk about workload. My work is also graded as more competent. "Busy as a status" is a Western thing, especially in America. It works. If you are just starting on your social life, say yes to everything. In addition to the comfort zone breaking benefits, the more you do, the more you're seen. Say yes now, figure out the details later. If you ask someone to hang out or vise versa and you have a lot of time to counter with, you're going to not be seen as valuable. "Why does anon have so much free time... He must not have any friends." All are prone to thinking like this.

      >High quality, tailored basics without branding in your wardrobe
Fashion is extremely context sensitive to the point that targeted advice in quick bullet point list is insane. But one universal: a high quality garment matters, is noticable, and makes the most difference. Most of all, FIT is more important than 'style'. Especially when it comes to this board. For a majority of men reading this, I have bad news: your wardrobe probably isn't maximized in terms of how it fits your body like you may think. It's challenging to build a complete wardrobe with the maximally accentuating clothing. Which is why it's worth it.

        >Always bring a killer dish or dessert to any applicable gathering
Being generous is good, actually. It's 100% more effective when you made the resource. You may have picked up the reason why this works so well from previous tips: we love competence, we love generosity to our in-group, and we love people with resources. An abundant cook or baker has all three with the added bonus that food is fricking amazing.

I'm aware almost anyone can DEBOONK that these tips aren't "necessary". I don't care. They are hard to argue against being effective, even if some are marginal. It drives me up the fricking wall to read threads where people's only advice is "bro just looksmax and like have a job." Everyone in the thread is already doing that. It's why they clicked on it. We want to keep optimizing. We want to build specifics in our lives. Just lift lifting, we need to consistently be loading.
