Sam has some decent wisdom if you have an existing base of lifting knowledge. For example, mixing in different types of sets (heavy/fast vs light/controlled) and taking advantage of stretched partials instead of just stopping at form failure. Or throwing in a dropset to hit your rep range if you’ve gone too heavy. It’s improved my training and I’m getting some good hypertrophy gains and it feels pretty evident during workouts because the pump is better
Everyone, absolutely everyone who tells any info on fitness on youtube, has been talking about all of that. Why watch 2 hors long rambling to get 1 minute of a decent info, when it's ton of 5 min long videos telling all that?

beginners shouldn't watch Sam, he doesn't filter his speech because he expects his viewers to be experienced lifters with a 110+ IQ. He expects you to get when he is just talking to talk, and when he is giving actual advice.
