If you train intensely for hours everyday eventually you need a rest week, I learned that myself when I crashed my test and gave myself CNS Fatigue, I’m talking about 3 hour training sessions 6 days a week
i lift for about 1.5-2 hours a day plus 30 minutes cardio and 1-2 hours jiu-jitsu 6 days a week and don't really give myself a rest day because jiu-jitsu is every day but friday and my gym (college campus) isn't open on sundays. i take a few days off when something feels sore
Personally I run and lift for 10 days straight, then I take 4 days off. I notice I wear down significantly towards the tenth day and feel exhausted, but then come back like a fricking beast doing slightly better after the rest.
I also do yoga every night for 30-60, even on off days.

This book is what got me started on it (yeah, it’s cheesy and I was like 15 at the time), but I can recommend the youaligned youtube channel as a good free beginner instruction.
A lot of studios have $10 drop in fees, so it’s generally not prohibitively expensive, but in some areas it is extremely expensive. I recommend you investigate local studios and ask them if they have an affordable admissions plan for poor gays in hope that they take pity on your broke ass, that’s what I did when I was first starting at least.
aside from normal rest days, i try to take off a full week every 3 months.
i always come back just as strong but feel way more energized.
our bodies are machines but they need rest after months and months of activity
your moms gonna need a rest week when I'm done
Frick off
Yes I'm doing it now however
You should frick off and stop making shit threads. You stupid gay c**t.
Why are you so mad at me?
is that a real thing? how many weeks of exercise before a rest week?
1 rest week between each set.

Rec for total yoga beginners? I'm rusty and uncoordinated and can't follow the YouTube thots that zoom over the movements
