In simple terms, He didn't. Jesus had all the divine capabilities of God because He was God. Jesus could (and did) demonstrate this knowledge, but because of the purpose of the incarnation, it was an act of humility to basically nerf himself more often than not. He could flex whenever he damn well pleased, and intentionally chose not to.
As for the forsaken bit, it's called out directly:
