Yeah some really inexpensive non-invasive surgery.
Or I guess enjoy the delights of poverty.
Try contacts. Takes a minute to put on in the morning and then 99% of the time you don't notice them at all throughout the day.
>corrective eye surgery
>non-invasive
Choose one.
how easy is it to put on contacts? they look scary what if it get stuck too
i also heard they cause dry eye
>how easy is it to put on contacts?
Hard at first, you will fail a lot. Don't get disencourged though, it's extremaly easy and fast once you get the hang of it. Just make sure to clean your hands before you put them on. As I said, take me a minute in the morning.
>I also heard they cause dry eye
They may in some people, though it's rare and just means you're back to square one looking fot a different solution, or different lenses. Unlike surgery, which can have permanent complications.
should i get daily or monthly ones
i have astigmatism if it matters
>asked optometrist about contacts for my astigmatism
>receive a hearty chuckle
My contacts would have to be so thick I might as well just wear glasses.
Not going for the surgery as I don't want my flap unflapping during sport and I don't have issues driving at night with my glasses.
Yeah if contacts are a no-go, glasses are overall best. If you're a vain motherfricker with a high pain tolerance, you can look into PRK. It's an older procedure that doesn't create a flap, but has much longer and way more painful recovery. There are other alternatives, too, but none of them are risk-free.
>If you're a vain motherfricker with a high pain tolerance
Frick that. I had an 11 month recovery after a motorcycle accident and it was enough suffering for a lifetime. Glasses it is then.
My vision is -14 and -15. My contacts are -10 but they work fine
There are special types of contacts for high astigmatism. They are more expensive but I never had a problem with them being thick
>they look scary what if it get stuck too
it's hard for them to get stuck, it's actually much easier to accidentally pop them off lol
but the first 2-3 months are terrible, it's hard to get rid of that involuntary movement where you try to close your eyes when putting them on, really frustrating, but once you get used to it, it's just like 5 seconds to put them in and move on about your day
eye surgery
>>non-invasive
>Choose one.
It literally is non invasive, morons. You're even awake during the whole process. You get in and out in less than an hour.
>It literally is non invasive, morons.
No, it isn't.
>You're even awake during the whole process.
Being awake during surgery does not make it non-invasive.
>You get in and out in less than an hour.
Surgery lasting less than an hour does not mean it's non-invasive.
Enjoy your
>flap dislocation
>multiple night vision problems (glares, halos, startburts, etc.) hope you don't need to drive at night
>permanent dry eye
>light sensitivity
>and more
Then ask yourself why ophthalmologists wear glasses.
Daily are preferable as they are more breathable and more hygienic (less risk of dry eye or infections, infections especially are pretty much impossible with daily lenses and cleaning your hands before handling them). It's what I use and would recommend, though it's also a bit more expensive. That said monthly lenses are pretty safe too.
>i have astigmatism if it matters
That's not a problem, there are lenses that correct both astigmatism and short/long-sightedness. Will be more expensive, but still should be affordable if you're not in poverty.
>Then ask yourself why ophthalmologists wear glasses.
This is the biggest redpill and all you need to know.
Also ever noticed how plastic surgeons won't ever get lipo? Nose jobs, facials and general bogging sure, but never major shit.
Mate of my got it, vision before telemetry surgery 3/10 left - 1/10 right = after surgery 13/13 both eyes. Said if he knew this would have been the result he would have gotten it 20 years ago. And cost only 3.5k euro, since the dude is a college professor its fricking peanuts for ihm
I had Lasik almost 6 years ago, went from 11 degrees of short-sightedness to fricking 0, shit is cash.
With night vision or dryness I never had any issues after the first few weeks, all good.
> ask yourself why ophthalmologists wear glasses
My opthalmologist had had Lasik done.
Having said all that, I do get scared about flap dislocation, doc basically told me to never get punched, which I haven't but you know..
ophthalmologists get LASIK at a slightly higher rate than the overall population.
Data, dumbass.
holy shit you guys are moronic. non invasive.
I'm not arguing the risks of benefits with anyone. but Lasik is absolutely not an invasive surgery. a CABG is an invasive surgery. a PCI/DES is non invasive. LASIK is non invasive.
My eyesight is so shit you can literally see the side of my head inside my lenses, and yet I still have doubts over surgery because of how many people seem to report dry eyes. Going around with a bottle of eyelube doesnt feel less problematic than the lenses.
>non-invasive
you don't even know what non-invasive means.
Its minimally invasive but you're more correct than these other homosexuals.
Literally a 30 second procedure.
I guess slicing your jugular is minimally invasive too, moron
Enjoy your 25% failure rate
There are plenty of videos on youtube of lasik "horror" stories like permanent halos, dry eyes, sensitive eyes and so on.
Anybody telling you it is low risk is a moron.
you are a fricking moron, a bunch of videos doesnt mean dickall, you can find testimonies of people dying from any fricking thing
this procedure has been done on DOZENS of MILLIONS of people, we have alot of data on this and the success rate is like 95% + on millions
>t. moron
>go blind
Stupid b***h.
>contacts
enjoy dry eyes for life
Don't get eye surgery. Everyone I know who has gotten eye surgery is now going blind.
Same one buddy at work can't see in the dark anymore. How is this shit legal
My ex got lasik and now has irreversible eye damage, constantly sees bright spots causing headaches, and ironically blurry vision.
I think I will be happier if I get corrective surgery and adult braces
eye patch training
cover 1 eye use the other only for the one hour, then switch eye patch to the other eye. Go outside look at objects at different distances. When reading gradually expand the distance from the text to your eyes.
Look into the distance more, just far enough so you can still focus. Yes this works.
no it doesn't dumbfrick
>i went to the gym one time and i didnt get ripped instantly
>wtf it doesnt work
>life ruined by an accessory
Skill issue. A shotgun shot to the eyes aiming from the neck would fix you. Just make sure to get some help obviously
>non invasive
There's videos on YouTube. The laser isn't that scary, you just look at the beam. But there's this part where they create a flap with laser and then use a piece of metal to literally open your eye to apply laser in it. Also there's some complications (halos etc), rare indeed, but probably permanent. I'll stick to contacts bruhs
Glasses are a meme it's a multi-billion dollar industry and you are a lifetime consumer I had -2.75 D in one eye and -2.25 in other, now I am down to no glasses it's still a bit blur but a lot lot better than before, but I can drive and do everything I want without glasses I did this without any surgery.
All I did was slowly reduced my prescription glasses with lower and lower power until I had no need for them, plus some eye exercises remember the ciliary muscle in the eye are responsible for the change in shape of eye lens so logically training them will make your vision better.
What eye exercises did you do? I've been wearing lower power glasses and even managed to get an optician to confirm I've increased my eye sight by a diopter. That was over time without any active effort though
Use pinhole glasses
Follow this , based guide https://youtu.be/x5Efg42-Qn0
>I've increased my eye sight by a diopter. That was over time without any active effort though
Elaborate on your method
explain
>le IST infographic collage
well it must be true
>just fix it with this procedure that basically forces you to have 0 responsibilities for like 4 years
I'm not saying it wont work, but the whole ordeal is a pain in the ass and nobody can afford it.
Lasik, contacts or glasses. If you're jacked/hot, glasses are sexy. See Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones
T. Femanon
your eyeballs are misshaped, there's no fixing it
All these meme exercises can just help you focus better, that's why the returns are diminishing and you still need glasses.
this is not necessarily applicable to everyone but this is the case for most ppl with glasses today
unironically stop looking at phones and monitors all day and start looking at things far from you
your eye sight is not bad its just adjusted to optimal range youre using
change that range and your eyes will adjust accordingly
just remember it look your eyes years of slow adjustment, it will also take years to readjust back
Lots of kale, spinach, and carrots. Maybe zinc helps as well. My eyesight has changed now and before whenever I eat those vegetables and minerals.
I got the PRK surgery, it costed me a bit less than 2.000€ total and I am very happy with the result
same i got PKR for 2k € also i'm satisfied its such a relief to not look like a nerd anymore
maybe we went to the same place 😮
i fricking hate having to use this shit guys holy frick. somedays i just want to brake them.
i don't use contacts i think its scary, same goes for the surgery
Contacts are great, it takes a little to get used to putting them in/out, but other than that you're really all set.
When did yous guys’ vision start getting worse, when did you notice, and did it get exponentially worse. Over the past 6 months or so I stg my vision has taken a shit. Night driving is starting to get really flarey
My vision got bad in elementary school/junior high. I couldn't read the board so I got glasses, then eventually even with my glasses I still needed to sit at the front. Got contacts and could see way better, eyes haven't changed since.
>Night driving
could be your eyes but new cars have insanely bright LED lights that are not only way brighter, but have are composed of less natural wavelengths and are much harsher on your eyes. regulators are just now catching up and putting limits on it, but now everyone is basically driving with the equivalent of brights on at all times
Im really hoping thats the case. I think I'd look good with glasses but they seem like such a pain in the ass since I’m a true blue IST mfer. I will not do contacts
I don't even think about my glasses at all.
