Look into functional medicine. Do an elimination diet like Mark Hyman talks about. Cut out gluten and dairy for a couple months and try to eat as clean as possible. This is probably caused by intestinal permeability aka leaky gut and is very fixable, but dermatologists are literal voodoo crystal healer tier frauds who only exist to sell you “steroid cream,” which they only hock off on you because they got blown by some pharmaceutical rep. You need to heal your gut.
a "healthy" diet from modern standards often times includes one or two things that can actually bother your body and skin. avoid milk bread cheeses, some people even go as far as to say to avoid certain select vegetables but i think thats too drastic for someone who isnt desperate. Make sure your vitamin D levels are good and start eating things like tuna and salmon that have healthy fishoils in them. vitamin d and omega 6/3 ratio play a large part in skin disorders getting worse.
This.
Every dermatologist was giving me a different diagnosis and then they were taking about a huge bucklet of creams, shampoos, drugs and were just randomly marking sponsored shit.
One declared I have psoriasis because of eczema on the side of my face and was really disspointed when checked my joints, back of the head, nails, etc. And didn't find a single symptom of psoriasis. Didn't back down from her diagnosis tho.
What really helpred, was fixing my d3 levels and my gut microbiome.
It's not milk itself, or dairy based products, it's the IgF-1 protein or whatever it's called which is also present in lean meats (basically in muscle tissue), eggs (in the egg white).
So beware if you've been gobbling on them eggs or eating too much meat. I hate to say cuz I'm not a vegan fundamentalist but I'd look into supplementing with veggie protein if I were you and minimize those if in fact, you do have an IgF-1 protein sensitivity. Which I hope you don't because that's fricked lol...not being able to eat too much animal products is fricked. Maybe try eating more fish and see how you do.
I have psoriasis, the worst it ever was was when I was eating carnivore. I'm eating a way more balanced diet these days (whole grain breads and vegetables) and it's so much better
My psoriasis fades to nothing within 2 weeks on carnivore. I don't eat eggs or dairy though, both will keep psoriasis active regardless whatever else you eat.
Eczema = vitamin A poisoning.
Very hard to cure, because nearly every food has vitamin A in it, so if your liver is full of vitamin A, there's nothing that will really work except a restriction diet for a very long period of time.
Getting lots of sun, drinking lots of alcohol, and smoking lots of cigars are pretty effective strategies at breaking down vitamin A.
So it turns out people's vices might be part of the cure. At least in moderation.
Grant Genereux claims to have cured his eczema on a vitamin A restriction diet.
Vit A poisoning is a real thing, but the only food I've heard of causing it is polar bear liver, which is basically toxic on account of it. I haven't heard of it being associated with eczema, but I've never investigated the symptoms.
I get really bad eczema/dermatitis on my scalp. I used to have very thick hair but it has been ruined. I’m not balding but shaving my head gets rid of it within a week. Is it worth it to shave my head constantly to not have to deal with it?

Also take 10,000 iu minimum of vitamin d daily for a few months and then get a blood test
Ive done carnivore diet for a week now and my fullbody eczema is almost completely gone. No steroids needed. All doctors must fricking hang (in minecraft)
You should slowly start introducing foods to see what the root problem is now. Have a serving of dairy once every few days, and if that makes it come back then there’s your problem. If you have no reaction to dairy, then do it with gluten, etc.
I had tinea versicolor like this over my entire body. Dermatologist gave me ketoconazole, which has terrible side effects so I quit using it. I kept trying different things until I ordered fluconzole from an Indian pharmacy. It worked with no side effects and I only have one small patch on my neck now.
>tfw not sure if have a tinea fungus or vitiligo on my balls
I wanna try liquid nitrogen on it because tinea funugs can be "dead" but still look like a depigmented spot of skin, I tried the blacklight test and it didn't look like tinea
Based fellow malassezia sufferer. Had the complete same situation but I managed to beat it down with zinc pyrithione and climbazole shampoo. Still flares up and itches like hell sometimes but it's easy enough to keep down and contained in the same few spots.

The pigmentation takes time to go away. My ass looked like a sickly white-pink leopard for months. Moisturizing every day helped make the skin soft and normally colored again.
I have something going on where, it's like... I'm allergic to being touched. Sometimes it's clothes, and I start itching. Or if something comes in contact w my skin, it will look like I got bit by a mosquito.
I haven't got to a doctor because they fricking suck and I'm not confident they'll have a solution.
Eh it’s a hard decision for which is worse. I have decent teeth after a decade of nearly every dental procedure you can think of (small mouth + big teeth is a bad combination, especially when your baby teeth didn’t fall out naturally and had to be removed). Had a deep filling done about a year ago that barely grazed the pulp so it bothered the shit out of me for a couple months afterwards. Horrible pains to the point where I’d just sit there staring at a wall for hours since I was so concentrated on not losing my shit from it. Downed pain meds like mad and was desperately hoping it would go away so I wouldn’t have to get a root canal. Luckily the pulp swelling finally went down (the nerve definitely didn’t die since I can still feel it) and I only occasionally get a full pain every now and then. Even then I don’t think I would trade it for skin problems
I had this one my foot for years and had no idea what it was. I put this one once a day and it went away. Then I got a water softener and didnt even have to use the aloe.
Sure buy your creams made by pharma or just go for the source and the root of the problem. You wont, so stay scratchy.
i have seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp and around my nose and forehead. i keep it under control by >using shampoo and washing my face with non-scented soap only 1-2x a week >~3x a week in the shower i mix about 1/4 to 1/6 apple cider vinegar with water, pouring it over my scalp and rubbing it in and letting a little drip down my face, leave for 5 mins then rinse out while gently rubbing my scalp >if the areas on my face flare up, get a q-tip, dip one end in isopropyl alcohol and the other end in apple cider vinegar. rub the IPA end over the areas, then rub the vinegar end over the areas. done before bed >washing/changing pillow cases about every other day
scalp flakiness and dandruff cut down by about 80%, and the patches on my face are really light pink. probably invisible if I got some sun and a bit of a tan but i work graveyard shift so ya no
i dunno if this would work for eczema tho
i have redhead skin, redhead skin is dry relative to browner skin, its less oily. So using soap on your skin of literally any kind is not a good idea.
I just use water and its also a good idea to avoid blasting hot water on your face in the shower, not just the hear that dries your skin more but the pressure is bad for the face skin.
Maybe this can work for browner tones, your skin will stabilise.
>Suffered with dandruff in hair and face for a solid 5 years now >Got myself relatatively clean even after stop using the expensive shampoos and advatan >Suddenly decide to try OneMealADay and other fasting diets because I am a bit fat and I heard fasting helps with inflamation
Oh boy... >face, beard, hair all got the red dandruff spots again >stressed out >memory loss cant even remember how was my diet when I was in my 4 months of bliss
Fasting is the biggest meme I ever fell, holy shit, it just rapes your hormones and makes your health tank for literally 2pounds of water weight.
Yeah bro I hate women too
women have the ugliest name. who names their daughter Eczema
Scandinavians.
my ex Emma
cheers
for real. wasted the best years of my life on these treacherous beasts.

I've had a healthy diet my whole life
Ok, what did you eat today/yesterday? You’re sure none of it was sprayed with roundup?
Also highly recommend a blood test/allergen test/heavy metal test

thats what you think
next thing you'll tell us is this healthy diet is vegan
Yep.
Dermatologist are F-tier quacks.
Have so many shit stories about the moronation that happens in dermatology (mostly female field ofc)
This.

My nose has been breaking out with whiteheads, so I'm trying to cut milk or try low-fat milk.

if you cut out carbs it goes away
I went on a keto diet once and it got worse
Just stop scratching

sounds like a load of horseshit
Smok'n, drink'n and tann'n depletes vitamin A.

Nah like 50% of the population is vitamin A toxic, especially if you're a white boy who grew up drinking milk every day.
I get really bad eczema/dermatitis on my scalp. I used to have very thick hair but it has been ruined. I’m not balding but shaving my head gets rid of it within a week. Is it worth it to shave my head constantly to not have to deal with it?
try NoPoo, which means no Shampoo or Conditioner. Scalp will be dryer for a period of time but should help in the end.
>fixes your life
this mogs
which one can i put on my face during the winter when my face gets dry and flakey?
Looks like walmart white trash shit
It's like 25 dollars a bottle
Check your stool for parasites. Yes, your stool, not your skin. If there aren't any, take a dose of Praziquantel anyway.
Ivermectin is a miracle drug. If you believe CNN horsepaste lies you're a fool.
So what do I buy and how much do I take
There's no miracle involved. Parasites (almost all of them, regardless of their size) frick with Mitochondria.
I had it when I was 18. I just put the steroid cream on it for a month and it went away. Just go to the doctor
How about vitiligo?
Exact same thing here
Also take 10,000 iu minimum of vitamin d daily for a few months and then get a blood test

What worked for me:
Drink a lot of water, spring water
No caffeine and alcohol
Do cardio
I have this near my dick and a lil bit on my chest. Luckily it doesnt itch much
OP forget about all the trash you read in this thread. How much would you pay me if i show you how to cure this and save your life?
good morning fellow eczema-cels

Excessively itchy skin can also be a warning sign for liver issues
dry socket is worse. Honestly would rather have skin problems than teeth problems

Frick off you can still lift. Try getting a hernia and having your fitness journey absolutely over.
