Safe Nicotine?

How to actually take advantage of nicotine without the risks?
3 days in without smoking and the worst part is feeling dumb and unproductive, and unless this brain fog dissipates eventually it's safe to say that nicotine provides huge cognitive advantage.
How to consume this nootropic without feeling that nasty cough, lack of breath and guilt about fricking up your own health?

I don't think nicotine withdrawals making you dumb is proof that smoking makes you smart.

I think you're talking yourself towards a relapse. Its hard to stay honest with yourself when you desperately want a cigarette.

Could be. I'll keep on without smoking but I guess i'm just worried that the brainfog is here to stay.
Any quitter Anons that can confirm if i'll get my mental sharpness back?

I quit about a year ago. I feel better in every way, except that I still get cravings from time to time. My teeth in particular feel amazing now. The first three days if quitting give you zero information about what it feels like to have quit.

You'll get used to it and the brain fog will become less noticeable. Obviously, you'll never be as sharp as on nicotine or other stimulants.
Vaping is probably the cleanest way to get nicotine into your system but do it conciously and discreetly as it will make you look like a ridiculous homosexual.

said, it can be up to 3 months. Personally I woyld say after a month the brain fog wrnt away for me. I've quit 4 times for over a year each time but still relapsed because I hadn't dealt with mental illness crap. These days I'm in therapy and gearing up to quit again. Don't be like me and roll back your progress anon, you deserve to make it.

the brain fog goes away after a couple weeks. the problem people have with quitting is the behavioral part of it. you drink coffee you light a cig. you get in your car you light a cig. you eat something and then light a cig. thats how people get ass rammed into smoking again, stupid behavioral shit

Nicotine does in fact increase iq slightly after ingestion.

Just wait it out. Nicotine withdrawals are literally a week max with the worst being first 3 days.

A safe alternative would be probably snus or some nicotine quitting products like patches or gum, however if you rely on nicotine as drug, you might as well relapse. You should beat the tolerance/addiction to smoking first and then consider taking it recreationally

Hey brother, just quit (~1.5 months) myself. If you really want to keep nicotine in your life, I'd say use the gum or patches or both. I quit with patches and now have stopped my dependency on nicotine. You will definitely get your sharpness back. In my experience mine didn't diminish that much.

I have a harder time talking when I am not on nicotine. I get a mush mouth. If i use any sort of nicotine I don't stutter or sound like a autist when I speak.

Snuff or snoose. Just make sure to brush your teeth and it is safer and doesn't frick up your lungs.

It limits the oxygen flow to your brain, moron.

I don't get the brain fog, I'm only getting angrier. I'm actually more productive when I go without tobacco for a couple of days because I need to keep myself busy so I don't burst out in anger at whomever is around me. I only do that when I'm in withdrawal and someone stops me from keeping myself busy.

Forgot to mention how I usually ramp up caffeine intake if I lay down the cigarettes, and I usually drink very little coffee.

    Snus, gum or patches
    Don't vape
I tried all those and realised I just miss smoking ans that cold turkey is the way to go.
    But
The slight burn. The smoke after sex. The cigarette after a busy as frick shift. An ice cold beer on friday afternoon with your buddies and a smoke. The cigarette with your morning coffee on a sunday on your deck during sunrise. A late night smoke when it's all quiet outside. Frick me I might start smoking again.

dont start vaping because you'll have acess to it at all times making nictoine addiction worse. I'd say ween off with nicotine gum and keep in mind how weak you are for being a slave to this substance. After you quit completely after about a month or two you introduce cigar once a week.

i smoked for 10 years and quit. after about 7 or 8 years without smoking cigs i started smoking cigars. i smoke a couple a week now. no cravings for cigarettes, they smell like absolute shit to me at this point but cigars smell amazing. good cigars are more expensive than cigarettes though. the only thing you have to worry about with cigar smoking is mouth cancer but im not even sure theres much evidence for it being much of a concern, stuff like dip and chewing tobacco are much much worse.

so yea, cigars. i dont fiend for them either, i just enjoy sitting outside smoking it
