Never read the stick but
>The problem is that people over-consume saturated fats and trans fats, which raise LDL ("bad") cholesterol and lower HDL ("good") cholesterol, and under-consume healthy fats like monounsaturated fats (found in high concentrations in olive oil and canola oil)
KEK what the frick
That’s correct
*incorrect
Excuse my typo.
Yeah I copy and pasted it from the sticky
Mmm, rapeseed oil! Delicious AND nutritious!
>rapeseed oil
You'll get it even if you don't want to
>Monunsaturated fat is healthy
Correct
>Canola oil contains monounsaturated fat
Also correct
>Therefore canola oil is healthy
Wrong. This is why people shouldn't oversimplify fats into large subgroups and not take into consideration the actual individual fatty acids, their ratios and other compounds alongside them.
if it took plebs decades to question the "accepted" narrative around SFA and cholesterol, then it's a good assumption that the skepticism around lustig's sugar rant won't become popular for the plebs until at least the next decade
They really should update the sticky to account for scientific developments.
and a better program as well, they still shill SS, granted it's better than brosplits but not by much...
SS are not better than brosplit, you can notice this simply by looking at the body of who do SS and who do Brosplits
SS is unironically good to build strength base for the first three to six months, obviously you have to focus more on upper body during and after the SS phase. the problem with the SS is the morons around it who encourage poor sods that "you can get higher numbers bro! just eat more! " and before you know it he becomes a permabulking powersharter who got too demoralized to cut, many such cases
Because fit is run by feds
Really?
The absolute state of IST
this website has been under fed control since at least 2010, probably earlier.
>do not eat fake sugar(corn syrup, artificial sugar, etc)
>do not eat fake fat(snoysneed oil, that artificial shit, etc)
This requires you reading labels (ik very difficult for <85 iq brains) This is the bare minimum you owe yourself as a man.
there's no such a thing as "fake sugar", you either go the keto route and say all carbs bad or (the obvious choice) the ray peat route and say all carbs good. that includes both bananas and HFCS. artificial sugar isn't a real thing either and neither is "that artificial shit" a very meaningful description for any type of fat. i'm not sure you have the cerebral processing capabilities which you believe you have
Nta but of course you can differentiate between different carbohydrate sources. Glucose and fructose are metabolised through entirely different processes just for starters. But more importantly quantity and looking at each nutrient in context of everything else you eat plays a factor. I'm not sure why this is so hard for people to comprehend given every nutrient is like this. e.g. too little dietary iron will cause anemia and too much can cause literal death.
Nope. HFCS is acts differently than real sugar or honey. I’m not gonna cite a study because it’s obvious.
you wont cite a study because there are none. your pic is indeed correct, you did make it up
artificial sweeterns are extremely sweet, sucralose being 300-1000 as sweet as sucrose and hence there's no real risk of any toxicity from them, since the amounts are so low. i switched from an RP diet to a high-starch diet and honestly don't notice any difference, but HFCS should theoretically have low starch since the goal is to break into glucose enzymatically in the processing of it
fake sugar just means sucralose and other bloody stool inducing poisons they put on keto goyslop. and HFCS isn't recommended from a ray peat standpoint because they're most likely contaminated with mercury and the starch content is pretty high as well
Always do the opposite of what the sticky says
