actually just got a quest 3 last week, what's the best workout app? Is beat saber enough and or is there somethign better?

      I play Pistol Whip.
Once you get the hang of it pick the right modifiers to make it tougher. I turn off aim assist and play on hard. Squat and shoulder city when you're dodging bullets while aiming at your target 30m away.

Mogging people on the leaderboards is a huge test boost. Beats the slog of watching goyslop on a treadmill any day.

ragnarock is good for arm strength but you'd probably get more endurance than strength

      absolute chad

Road cycling is the foundation of my cardio these days - running just isn't as enjoyable unless you're an absolute twig of a sprinter. But I almost forgot how fun DDR was until I had a decent session at the barcade tonight.

I used to play like every weekend a few years back at the house where a bunch of my friends live. Just get high on hallucinogens, chug some Monster and enjoy the trippy colors until like 5 in the morning.

Also airsoft can be pretty damn good HIIT if you get up close and personal and be aggressive. Being man child is fricking great.

I'm running half marathons for fun around 2h45m at 5'10"185lbs of "the one guy on the crew that actually fricking does the work" manual labourer meat (so you can too), but road cycling will always be #1. I also love climbing a ton of altitude with a 54t chainring and a 28-11 cassette

this, I broke mine while sleeping. just get a garmin watch. I never expected it to be this amazing. although it's much more cardio oriented (gps for rooning tracks etc) it even roughly detects the exercise I'm doing and automatically counts the reps and resets the rest timer, and keeps the workout log in the app.

I am too boomer for VR. I get dizzy as frick most of the time. I thought it might just be the shit resolution/poly count of 1st gen VR games (I have no problems playing modern FPS but going back to old low poly, low res FPS = instant motion sickness for me), but I got a PS VR2 and it looks fantastic and I still get dizzy.

How do you clean the built up sweat and grease in the headband and cushion?

Spraying alcohol and dabbing/blotting with a paper towel is helpful.
Look up how to clean micro fiber & avoid too much overspray, pooling and getting on your lenses.
