It's milk, milk protein, flavor, sweetner and thickening agent.
Of all the slops, it's pretty clean.

I stopped eating them because they're too decadent, it feels like I'm a fat homosexual.
Quark is less delicious so I can allow myself that.

They're full of gums and similar garbage that destroys your gut. You're absolutely better off eating Greek yogurt and cottage cheese, not much different on calorie/protein ratio and a lot healthier. Also, protein quality matters more than you might think

my recipe with quick 1 minute oats tastes like cereal. Been eating this breakfast for 2 months straight now, good for a skelly like me.

        >1 minute quaker oats
        >1 cup lactose free milk
        >1 scoop extreme milk chocolate whey
Mix your oats and milk together, throw in a pinch of salt and stir it around. Microwave for 50 seconds, let it rest for a bit. Swirl in a whey scoop

I usually eat 2 bacon slices + banana and a glass of juice.

Yogurt is simply fermented milk, it should have the same amino acid profile as milk unless it's low fat, then they frick with protein ratios to improve taste and mouthfeel so it might even have more whey:casein than milk.
IIRC skyr is a fresh cheese and doesn't contain any whey, pure casein.

Their pudding is the only edible thing. Both quark and cottage cheese (protein) tastes like gravel with vanilla extract.
The pudding's amazing, tastes passable, and is ALWAYS out of stock where I shop, for frickever reason.
Eat that, and "that day best by" salads, and you will have successfully made the cut.

Also, the 900 g stracciatella youghurt is a) cheap b) enough for the whole week c) tastes good. Mix in some protein powder if you want.

speaking from experience, it makes you feel more satiated after a meal, so you'll be less likely to snack until the next meal's time. Of course this only works when consumed in moderation.

        Anonymous

        >so you'll be less likely to snack
How much of a pathetic zero self-control subhuman you have to be that you can't control what you eat?
If you know that you already consumed what you need until your next meal, literally just don't eat until your next meal? Where's the damn problem?

          >How much of a pathetic zero self-control subhuman you have to be that you can't control what you eat?
A depressed married guy, where one of the few things I enjoy are eating. Luckily I've found that I enjoy jogging as well, for 5 or 10k, but until I can lose weight I won't be able to run 10 each day, as much as I'd like to.
That much of a subhuman one needs to be. Which is actually the norm, unfortunately.

Hope you find happiness. Just know that self-control in eating is 100% possible and actually so simple and easy that you will look at your current state as laughable in the future. Just keep at it, you can do it.

I can see that self control in dietary behaviors is the only area wherein you have this. And I bet it's not even real self control, if I had a nickle for every dickslick who jerk offs his ego over his self discipline, when in actuality he goes to the gym to cope, or is too heavily distracted to eat, I'd have enough to buy a frickin pudding. You're a deceitful lot, completely full of shit and hypocrisy.

Why can't lidl keep their stores tidy? I go there and to Intermarché and they're worlds apart. Lidl always has empty shelves, shit out of place, no price showing etc. Intermarché has things well kept, only defect is being slightly pricier otherwise I would shop there exclusively.
Also lidl peanut butter is cheap as frick, unfortunately it's nothing but palm oil.
Also visited a lidl so gnarly that the next shop was an arabic butcher.

Yes I live in France. It has some good deals, specially stuff like caned vegetables but otherwise it's somewhat more expensive than lidl.

while there are so many Europeans in the thread talking about Lidl, do any of yours have a bakery inside?

If so, do any of them still bake cookies? The ones here in the states don't make cookies anymore and they aren't even listed on the website for catering anymore either.
    >inb4 fatass, cheat days only cheat yourself, etc etc
I only ever get 1 cookie at a time and only once every two weeks or so. Well under maintenance on days when I have them. Out of all the fresh bakery cookies I've ever tried, Lidl was by far the best one. Really sad to see them go.

Bulgarian here. Everything in the bakery besides bread and bretzels is clearly delivered frozen and only baked in-store. Sure, the pastries are delicious but I don't frick with the prefab food.
Shame, most dairy and meat in Lidl nowadays is locally sourced and of pretty good quality. They should go native with baked good as well.

yes there's a bakery section, with about 25% of the products being from finland. I think they might have some kind of cookies, but I think finns tend to buy their cookies in packages and not fresh
