This is just my personal opinion, but it's not necessarily bad, it's just that we can't have it in large quantities since we don't have a digestive system that can handle that. Fiber is digested by bacteria which is a process that happens in the colon and if you compare human physiology to other apes/animals we have a smaller colon proportionally as well as no cecum (an organ that also helps digest fiber), so we probably still can handle a little bit of fiber, but not much, and if you cook it the fiber will be broken down more so it'll be easier to break down, possibly.
As an aside, there are no nutrients in plants that you require, animals require animal nutrients, which sounds obvious and self-explanatory but it means that animals who eat plants aren't actually digesting plants, bacteria basically does all the work for any animal that eats plants, they turn them into "animal" nutrients. You can argue there's benefits to having the bacteria that feed on these foods but you can't really say there's any nutrients you're missing from them. It should be understand that plant foods are mainly a source of energy, not nutrition.
looks like this one is not water soluble, so you'd probably have to sprinkle it on the 5lbs of chicken breast you all eat, or just spoon and wash it down
This stuff and eating more fermented foods made me shit so much more regularly. I used to have around 6 - 7 shits a day, but now I go twice a day and they're huge. It's completely worth it.
Does anyone know much about probiotic benefits?
I used to take them, but there was a bunch of research saying it's a waste of money and you shit most of it out.02b
I've got ulcerative colitis and I'm on day 5 or something of drinking Kefir, I think it has helped a bit, hard to say though. I'm not sure about pills, but I don't see any issues with a glass of kefir a day, it's is just a food so it wont be wasted either way.
>80g oats in the morning >80g oats for lunch >1lb broccoli for dinner >3.5oz raspberries for post workout snack

in water and wait to swell up and drink?
in porridge/cereal?
chug before it gets goopy or add something to cover the flavor of dead grass.
this and inulin
blends best if you use a milk frother.
People literally blast themselves with fiber then complain about IBS or Crohn's.

Really I had a problem like that but quitting booze solved it.
>every guy I met who has cancer is on chemo
>chemo must cause cancer
How so? What is the difference between with and without for you?
Just eat oatmeal or soaked chia
That way you also get some other much needed nutrients like magnesium
That brand is bad. It makes it hard to poo. Use this brand it’s way better.
Hard in what way? What makes that brand better?

you're better off eating fermented dairy and foods with resistant starch (legumes, whole grains)
