Just a simple cleanser + moisturizer + sunscreen
I tried Cerave and then some Korean brand Cosrx. Both make me have red spots on my face.
Not sure if its the cleanser or moisturizer that is causing it. Maybe I will use only one and see how it works.
There is a period where your skin needs time to get used to the product. That’s why women always freak out using a new brand or product because it causes them to break out. If it’s bad and continues for weeks, there’s an issue but having some redness is normal.
>sunscreen
Are you in the sun a lot?
UV radiation can cause acne-like symptoms through a group of conditions called Photodermatoses.
Sunscreen itself can cause acne as well, since many are oil based and easily clog the pores.
Moisturizer generally doesn't clog the pores unless overdo it and overmoisturize the skin.
Cleanser by itself does not cause acne logically, but it can irritate the skin in ways that make breakouts more likely to occur.
I take it you have already tried to simply wash your face daily and thoroughly with a washcloth, my advise is to give it time and continue your current routine for several weeks and see if the pimples persist, if they do, leave away the sunscreen and if you can stay away from the sun, if you can't, look for a gel (water) based sunscreen and try it.
The thing is I was using the Cosrx products before and they were fine, I switched to Cerave and it starting breaking out. I stopped using any products at all for like 2 weeks and my skin was fine. Then I went back to Cosrx and it started happening again.
Meaning either my skin changed or idk maybe I should stick with it longer and see how it turns out.
Specifically the Cosrx Oil-Free Ultra-Moisturizing Lotion with Birch Sap
Try Vanicream, most moisturizers (including tub Cerave which is often recommended) give me bad closed comodones but Vanicream is great. The Neutrogena and Aveeno gel moisturizers are also good although not as effective for my skin in particular
>shower everyday, especially right after sweating hard or for a long time >put on lotion right after showering >wash your bedsheets/pillowcases weekly, towels bi weekly >sunscreen when outside for longer than 30 mins (depends on skin tone) >walk around outside, no shirt, no sunscreen for ~30 mins at least three times a week (you could use the cardio anyway) >10% benzoyl peroxide for any individual breakouts as they pop up
Do this, even loosely for 3 months and you'll have tanner less acne riddled skin, you're welcome
What is your background? if you are a med don't fucking use moisturizer retarded, we already got a quite oily skin it will just cause break outs, every time i put a moisturizer on my face its the same.
Skincare is not the same for everybody
Meat
poultry
butter
cream
low carb vegetables and fruits such as carrots, bell peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, broccoli, or whatever you like
eggs
fish
cheese
basically just real foods and not grain based goyslop
All you need for good skin is a good light traditional soap(not dr ((bronners*~~ made from olive oil coconut oil, and beef tallow if you can find it, to drink plenty of water, exfoliate lightly with a sugar or colloidal oat scrub, and use a small bit of olive oil as a lotion if your skin ever gets dry for some reason. All these things are cheap and easily accessible.
I just use a 2 in 1 combination moisturizer sunscreen from Sephora. I also keep a small tube of sunscreen in my bag in case I need to reapply. Constantly get surprise from people when I tell them my age.
It really isn't that complicated, keep the skin hydrated, reduce UV damage from the sun. It will go a long, long way.
>skincare routine
It is called avoid too much sun, don't do drugs/alcohol/smoke, and eat clean nutritious food.
What are you, a woman? You don't need to use any products other than sunscreen.
What meme skincare routine did you fall for?

Ohhh so that's what Finger has on his scalp.
Moisturizer is usually the culprit. Try one that's made for eczema like La Roche-Posay Lipikar Balm.
>Moisturizer is usually the culprit
You mean sunscreen

I am Albanian yes, my skin is kinda oily on its own you're right
>Sunscreen
Unless you live next to the sahara desert there is no reason to rub endocrine disrupting poison onto your skin for minor sun protection.
Skincare routines are mostly pointless
Eat a diet low in carbs, high in protein, high in vitamin a, avoid direct sun exposure.
>Eat a diet low in carbs
but then you have no energy
Wrong. But you can keep eating carbs, just don't expect your collagen to last
So what do you eat in a day without carbs then?
Meat
poultry
butter
cream
low carb vegetables and fruits such as carrots, bell peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, broccoli, or whatever you like
eggs
fish

If you used tretinoin, it's fine don't worry about it. It'll go away unless you are using it like a retard.
Retinoids?
Your skin is purging you fucking junkie
the only thing you need is cleanser, tretinoin, and sunscreen

>You didn't drink water buddeh
>break out
What did you expect?
Zinc daily, apple cider vinegar for breakouts, basic moisturiser 2x daily no matter what, drink lots of water.
this may sound stupid but when your showering do you let the water from you hair go down your face?
to IST
you brought this on yourself

Ever since I started eating 3-4 eggs a day and take fish oil supplements my skin looks better. much better! shocking! Any professionals know why?!
>Impatient
>no energy to care
>no time between shifts to establish any kind of routine
>ended up doubling my acne scars in my 30s
>also balding
