quick question, how much oil do you need to get a maillard reaction?

      Anonymous

you don't necessarily need any. maillard only requires heat.

      Anonymous

None, oil is a medium to prevent sticking and provide even transfer of heat

Is this supposed to imply these are the same ingredients? Not even close

    >See on IST that keto and low carb burn fat the most

Why do people believe this Bullshit? No diet is going to fundamentally change your metabolism. You know what's going to make you burn more calories? DOING THINGS THAT USE ENERGY. It's a thermodynamic unit ffs. That's what we're talking about here.

    >still feel like I'm fatigued, mentally unable to concentrate

yea, humans have 3 sources for energy, fats, sugars and proteins. You have cut out ENTIRELY 1 of those sources. There are consequences. Don't do it anymore.

    >I'm going back to just eating whatever I feel like as long as it's under my TDEE

yes for the love of god.

No, the body doesn't use protein for energy unless it's converted into sugar, and the body won't use fat for energy if there's sugar. Before protein gets turned into sugar, it'll be used as building blocks for the body first, before the sugar it got turned into converts into fat it'll use up all the sugar, even raising your metabolism just to burn it off. You can see how impractical it is for protein in this instance to ever be stored for fat, for carbs to be stored as fat it needs to be used up first, again your body would rather burn the sugar by raising your metabolism instead of converting it into fat and storing it. Even with fat, your body would rather use saturated fat and omega 3 polyunsaturated fat as building blocks primarily, and then energy if there isn't enough sugar, and THEN it will get stored as fat if there's excess. Note in all these conversions it takes energy just to go from one macro to another, which is why your body doesn't want to do that, it would rather use them as building blocks or as energy. The only macro that this doesn't apply to is pufas omega 6 that's found in the seed oils primarily, your body doesn't want to use that toxic shit for either energy or as building blocks so it just stores it. They did studies on this, protein overfeeding does not lead to fat gain, between carbs and fat overfeeding fat leads to more fat gain, which makes obvious sense because fat directly converts to fat deposition. Lastly, even between the fats if you feed rats same calories but one eats pufa and the other saturated the saturated one will be lean and the pufas will be fat. The number one culprit is literally just seed oils, it's the single biggest change in diet in human history and correlates strongly with obesity. Cico is strictly correct in the most autistic sense, that to gain weight your body needs to take more in than it excretes, but it's wrong in any practical application.

Thank you for typing out a 3 paragraph reason for why protein is an energy source. No shit the energy get converted into something else numbnuts, that's how it works. That's like me trying to mentally gymnastic around how "Well AKTUALLY Gasoline isn't an energy source because it's the difference in pressure from one system to another that creates the usable energy for the motor"... It's infuriating that you two are this moronic. Probably got a tiny dick too

Did you just forget to read everything else on why cico is moronic? The infuriating one are morons like you who think of an autistic understanding of diet like "bro it's just more coming in then going out, that's what causes weight gain" like, no shit sherlock, that has to be logically true because of the laws of the universe. If you were hired to figure out why there are less people in a stadium and your answer was, "well it's because more people left the stadium than stayed/came in", your ass would be rightfully fired because of how moronic and self-evident your answer was while thinking it's genius. It's not an "akshually" because protein is in practice never stored as fat, so there goes one macro out the window to counting your cico, carbs too are hardly ever stored as fat, do you get the point here? In theory you can say "if any macro is a certain amount of calories above tdee, you'll gain x amount of fat", in reality, IT DOESN'T WORK. As I said, studies on protein overfeeding show you won't gain fat, studies on rats fed the same calories but different kinds of fat, the saturated one will be lean vs polyunsatured they will be fat. Studies on overfeeding carbs or fat show that overfeeding fat will make you gain more fat. All of this doesn't change the laws of physics, but it sure does put a massive hole into such an autistic understanding of diet. A sensible person would change their diet composition in light of these facts, they would try to find a diet they can eat until satiation while also still being lean and healthy. An idiot tracks their calories while eating shit that is preferentially stored as fat by the body.

First of all beef is carcinogenic and cheese is barely healthy.
Second the ingredients they use in fast food stores are not fresh and generally low quality

No. Meat, even fish, is linked with colon cancer. This isn't controversial except for people who spend more time on YouTube than in a library.

According to insurance adjusters it is.

Is your source someone who's got a financial stake in being objective, or someone who's got a financial stake in convincing gullible dipshits like you of some niche theory based on spurious research so you'll buy their book?

I feel physically and mentally better on low carb, what works for me may not work for everyone else. It doesnt mean much, just that im more evolved than you. I will be leaving earth soon to seed other planets in other solar systems with my superior genetics. Ur elk wont survive systems that dont have carbs

combining macros even "healthy" ones in the same meal is generally unhealthy. How do you think arteries get clogged? different macros combine in bloodstream
