serious question

suppose you have been lifting for 2 years now, but being the moron you are you’ve never trained a particular muscle like the forearms. if you start now, will your forearm gains catch up to your other muscles? or will your overall physique still be imbalanced

tldr
will noob gains apply to my untrained forearms

Yes. A lot of exercises already build your forearms without isolating it anyway

I used to do compounds and never trained arms/biceps much. I started training arms and they started to grow (ofc lol). They still look imbalanced compared to my chest/shoulder but better than before

idk what else to add, they're still smaller than I want to but that's cause I didn't isolate them before

I never targeted forearms until I was like 35 and they caught up quick when I started deadlifting and rock climbing. Just work hard.

One time, when I was coming home from work and I was about 24 years old a girl like that was standing in the way of me getting to my apartment. She kept staring at me, and I didn't know what to do. My heart started racing and I sprinted up the stairs and into my apartment. I heard her say, "Are you serious?" When I was running away but I was petrified of girls when I was younger.

You destroyed her. You leveled her. She still thinks about it to this day.

Yes. Add forearms exercises. The only way for that to happen would be that you go to the gym to train forearms only but you aren't that moronic, r-right?

"noob gains" is just a way of saying that the smaller a muscle is, the faster it will grow.
