>shampooing everyday causes hair loss
>hair get greasy after 1 day
What the frick am I supposed to do then?
Did no shampoo for weeks multiple time and no results

If hair had value, it wouldn't grow in the ass.
Be clean.
I’m not following this line of reasoning.
Okay
Hair is there to reduce friction and decrease the risk of infection.
your hair gets greasy after 1 day without shampoo BECAUSE you shampoo everyday
i only wash my hair with warm water everyday and it looks, feels and smells absolutely fine. I only ever use shampoo when I have to remove pomade or wax that I've used to style my hair for a special occasion.
based brazilian bro
>your hair gets greasy after 1 day without shampoo BECAUSE you shampoo everyday
Wrong.
Some people just produce a shit ton of oil on their scalp naturally, no cure for it.
t. tried no shampoo for several months a few times, didn't change shit
>Some people just produce a shit ton of oil on their scalp naturally, no cure for it.
obviously it changes from hair to hair and people to people. the straighter your hair is the more you're going to have to shampoo since the oil flows down the strands of hair more easily
also if your diet is entirely fricked up and you keep producing sebum all over your body and you sleep on a diry pillowcase there's more to fix than simply shampoo
If skin had value it wouldn't grow in the ass
Nice try moron
Protection against pathogens and flies that sting you fricking moron
>>hair get greasy after 1 day
Not really
Mine does
Clean up your diet and drink more water
I washed every 3-4 days, got too greasy even after trying for a long time. My sweet spot is every other day for shampoo. I actually was losing more hair shampooing less.
Embrace the grease. That's what I do.
this, i don't understand the problem
if your hair is greasy, then it isn't dry
All of my male ancestors had Vegeta tier window's peak with no actual hair loss. Even when I look back at my 10-year-old self, my hairline has not changed and I still looked like Vegeta back then. I do freak out when I look in the mirror though.
I am somewhere between NW1/NW2 since I was 16. The hairline hasn't changed in the next 16 years. I think I am good.
The vegeta hairline is unironically based. Your blood is the blood of royalty. Be a proud Saiyan.
Got the Vegeta hairline. Can confirm am chad.
It’s amazing how gullible IST users are sometimes.
High quality conditioner with cold water
>shampooing everyday causes hair loss
no, stop using chemical shampoos
Hair gets less greasy over time.
Also swim in the ocean
while its winter? yeah bro
Seawater is highly corrosive, it will frick up your hair if you swim daily
>Also swim in the ocean
I wish I could BUT I'M FRICKING LANDLOCKED REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
idk you might have bad genetics
I never understood you gays talking about oily hair, your diets must be fricked.
dry shampoo
though I have no idead if it has any negatives
dude dry shampoo causes hair loss because its like the same thing as using regular shampoo except you don't have to rinse it off. OP, you just have to raw dog the grease aesthetic.
Which is why women don't go bald
Creatine makes shampoo?
Been doing no shampoo/soap for years and my hair has only gotten better. No grease or offensive smells on my hair or elsewhere. Just stick it out. I've also seen people recommending egg yolk or coconut oil for hair but idk. Pair with semen retention for lion mane tier
I"ve been on no poo for years too but I recently read that THAT can cause hair loss by somehow damaging the scalp. We're screwed either way
im pretty sure thats a meme. if that were the case then there would be many times more bald people before modern shampoo
Before modern shampoo there wasn't seed oils in every food
i tried nopoo and ended up with dandruff
>>hair get greasy after 1 day
Change your shampoo. I switched to the green Clear and it worked out great, it's never itchy anymore. I wash my hair every 3-4 days
I did change multiple time and it's still the same
I have kinda long hair so maybe it's probably more visible than on short hair
I usually do a buzz cut but i do let it rise quite a bit, I'd say keep changing, and buy higher quality stuff. I sleep with a hat on and it used to be horrible, now it's great
Nah, I got long hair too and it never looks greasy. No matter how long I don't wash it.
I haven't taken a shower in weeks. No one notices. I have a buzz cut tho
Your hair is probably getting greasy that fast because your scalp and hair adjusted to you removing the fat every day with shampoo.
Change your routine and things will adjust in a week or two.
listen to this
hair oil production will go down once you stop stripping it all out on a daily basis like some average moron
turn the temp of shower water down when you wash your hair as well
t. 10 years of no shampoo
unrelated, but
>had a bad dandruff problem for years
>plate-sized flakes lodged in my hair
>tried every shampoo/conditioner on the planet
>nothing helped, some shampoos only made it worse
>went to a few dermatologists, they kept telling me to keep up with the shampoo
>same result, nothing's changed or improved
>decide to stop eating bread one day
>all dandruff is gone
well done. Bread is the ultimate israelite. I'm trying very hard to quit for so long but it's so fricking tempting every time i go to the store.
>stop eating bread
I cant... c'est fini..
ngmi
try conditioner
I switched from head and shoulders daily to some higher quality shampoo every 3 days
hair felt greasy by day 3 so started using conditioner every day and my hair now feels fricking amazing
Are you shampooing and conditioning? Not the 2in1 garbage. A seperate shampoo and conditioner. Shampoo 3-4 times a week, try to condition every day for a few weeks and see what happens.
Use conditioner to clean your hair. I'm a greaseball too, but I only shampoo my hair once a week and condition every day.
Don't use shampoo use soap
wash hair everyday with water, every other day with shampoo moron it's not hard to intuit
Forget about using shampoo, just wash with water every day or two days. You'll only remove the excess sebum which causes the oily look, leaving enough for your hair to stay healthy. Anyone telling you to try alternative products is stuck on a different type of snake oil. Just water.
Learn HOW to wash your hair correctly. I went from getting lots of hair loss in the shower to now getting almost nothing. You're suppose to massage the shampoo onto the scalp not your actual hair. The oil is from the scalp.
your scalp got used to ver oiling itself because your shampoo keeps drying it up ,
when you stop your scalp will learn to oil itself normally again but this can take several months but its defenitely worth it at the end , and dont use water that's too hot either , that can also strip away oil , not just from your scalp but your whole body.
I weened off of it
Shampoo every other day
Every 4-5 days
Every week
Every 2 weeks
Once a month
Never again for like 12 years
If I go like a week without running my head under some water and massaging my scalp I"ll get greasy, but I can go like 4 days without being noticeably greasy, feel bad for those who must use the shampoo israelite
NoPoo here for 8 months now and my hair looks better than ever.
I use natural bar soap for everything else
you won't get sick or dirty from putting your head where someone else's head has been on the bench, don't be such a neurotic homosexual
Most of the advice isn't going to be helpful because hair varies wildly. For instance, my hair looks a lot worse whenever I use conditioner. Occasionally I'll moisturize if I don't plan on going anywhere that day or the next.
seriously, that's the gayest shit I've ever heard
what sort of obsessive compulsive cleaning rituals do you go through when having to interact with anything in a shared public space
ask anyone who's worked in a restaurant how potentially gross the shit you eat out is
99% of people don't have fungi or enough germs that you should care about, plus half these germs die soon enough anyway. Germophobia is an awful illness and you should get help for it as soon as you can, fren
>have normal to dry skin and hair
>shampoo hair
>becomes puffy and dry
>takes like 3 days to look back to normal
>try only conditioner
>same effect but weaker
what do i do bros, im even using shit good for dry hair types and i leave the conditioner in for a few minutes while i do body
Try different brands until you find one that doesn't make it as puffy for you
I wash it regularly, but only treat it weekly. Looks and feels decent most of the time.
The less you purge it if oil the less it will produce. Just shampoo it less.
Keep it short.
You're still meant to rinse your hair with hot water daily for at least 1 week after you stop shampooing. With the right water temperature, you will remove excess grease without completely stripping away all of it and leaving your hair too dry.
>Did no shampoo for weeks multiple time and no results
It can take a year or more for your body to fully heal from a lifetime of damage from daily shampoo. Do it in increments: go two days without shampooing for a while, then three, then four, etc. I wash my hair once or twice a month and it doesn't start to look noticeably oily until at least a week after being washed.
shave your head bald to avoid damage
start co-washing
>hair get greasy after 1 day
>What the frick am I supposed to do then?
Keep waiting. Wash hair every few days with COLD water.
My hair was greasy at first but after 2 weeks of nopoo my hair is smooth and nice.
>Wash hair every few days with COLD water.
And then the dandruff keeps accumulating because cold water doesn't actually wash properly and you end up with even more inflammation than before.
I don't eat bread so I literally will never get dandruff.
Alternate when you use shampoo. I do
>1 day with shampoo and conditioner
>next day with just conditioner
>last day without washing hair
>repeat
it takes about 6 weeks for the scalp to recalibrate its oil production to a normal level. after you stick it out that long its amazing how natural and healthy your hair will become.
now for cleaning all you need to do is get some organic apple cider vinegar and use that about once a week.
its a god tier regiment i promise
Your hair gets greasy after a day because everyday showering has made it so your pores are used to overproducing the oils in your hair that they need. You have to ease your way out of it. Shampoo every other day, then every three days, and so on until you can go about a week or so, then just scrub your hair with water from that point on and you're golden.
>t. NoPoo for a couple months with clean looking/feeling hair
don't use shampoo, its that simple.
I wash my hair with bar soap. Never had a problem.
I use the vanicream shampoo thats free of irritants and fragrances. If I'm going to put shit on my body and hair I'm going to want something with the least amount of preservatives, chemicals, endorcine disruptors put in the products to make them smell fruitier, change the texture/color/etc
>shampooing everyday causes hair loss
This is bullshit. The only thing that causes hair loss is DHT
you autists are going to find a way to "[x]-maxx" anything
I use very little shampoo like the size of 1 bean
It doesnt become foamy like the op pic but it is enough to remove most grease and make your hair look good
>shampooing everyday causes hair loss
no it doesnt
>shampooing everyday causes hair loss
No, being a genetic failure causes hair loss.
Sucks to be you.
Your scalp overproduces oil because you keep cleaning it off.
I used to schampoo every day and my hair was disgustingly oily if I skipped a day, had problems with dandruff etc.
A few years back I just said frick it and stopped using schampoo altogether, my hair was disgusting for about a month before it started to change. Around the two month mark it was great, felt like hair should, like petting a cat.
These days I only schampoo once a week.
