I like my oatmeal savory, good amount of butter and salt, maybe some beef fat or hot sauce if I've been cooking.

That looks disgusting. I do quick oats and casein protein with water in a container overnight. Then in the morning I put high protein vanilla yoghurt on it, strawberries, cacao nibs and granola. Tastes like a strawberry cream cake and it's got 332 cals and 35g protein. Highly recommend if you're a fat cake loving frick like me

Oatmeal IS good for you. It’s one of the best sources of carbs. The more complex the starch (not the fibrous fake shit), the better it is. It is why northern Europeans grow so tall, because their diet mainly consisted of potatoes and other root fruits
Boiled wheat mogs refined wheat (pasta) every day of the week.

How do I make oatmeal creamy and bearable? Been eating oatmeal for 3 years close to daily how do I enjoy it again?

You tried cooking it stovetop? There are a bunch of decent civil war era oatmeal recipes you could start cooking. They have tons of different names like 'oat gruel' or something completely unrelated sounding, so maybe find a glossary

steel cut oats with milk and some peanut butter, heated up and you'll have a nice creamy meal

      Anonymous

slowly heat on a stove top with milk, or half milk half water + a sliver of butter
Add peanutbutter/honey/cinnamon+brownsugar/cranberries/banana etc. No, not all at once kek just one
      Change it up

everyone talks about creamy oats but what about fluffy oats? that's where they really shine

Fluffy how? Pouring near boiling milk/water on dry otas and stirring can make them 'fluffy' but its more of a soggy fluff, I prefer heating them with liquid

Whenever I've tried re introducing oats into my diet again I get a really fatigued feeling I call "feeling deficient". Same feeling I had when I was low iron (eating meat and oats daily and milk with every meal). I only like eating oats raw tho, is there a way to eat raw oats without getting fricked by phytic acid?

it has that "chocolate" with sugar and artificial sweeteners but better than cereals imo. if you insist on lidl you can get 0.5kg of oats for like 0.6€.
