    How old are you and how severe are the DOMS? If you're like 19 then go for it. If they're only causing a little discomfort then you can power through it. I wouldn't recommend if you were over 25 or experiencing crippling soreness though

        How painful are they still? I find that mild DOMS are easy to push through as long as you give your muscle ample time to warm up.

          I would definitely say mild pain with some feeling of weakness. I want to workout but I just want to make sure I'm not going to shoot myself in the foot and slow my progress. Not sure if that's how muscles work haha not sure if they need to finish repairing before i break them down more.

            If theyre the same muscles then its probably an indication that they havent recovered fully. You can try to pyramid up thru your warm up and youll feel yor muscles struggling to move properly. If you can do your workout fully(progress) then its not DOMS, something is wrong
