I mean, you shouldn’t just take it. You should pay for it first.

I think he's asking whether or not he should take creatine on a cut.

No it adds 10 pounds of water weight and if you do not sufficient electrolyte or water intake, the cramps fricking suck

So all he has to do is drink water?
You're saying no because he has to drink water?
Did you fail to drink water on creatine? Is that why you go around telling people they should not ingest it? Because you couldn't drink water?

It transports the water into your muscle cells. It’s literally the only way to look like you lift after a cut outside of PEDs

Nobody who lifts seriously and isn't underage should be natty

    yea, why not.
its not going to magically help you grow despite a caloric deficit, but it'll still help you lift more
there's certainly no obvious downside to it, so why not.

the obvious downside is that its completely useless and costs money. other than that yeah i guess why not.
if you eat meat and bench press 100kg for 8 reps, taking creatine will LITERALLY not add a single gram or rep to your lift. it just wont.

        >completely useless
literally the only single supplement that has unequivocal scientific backing from like 700 studies or so.

        >costs money
i mean, yea, but its still dirt cheap
like, you can get a year's supply for like 70 bucks or so

What’s the diff between creatine monohydtate and HCL

      Anonymous

Creatine alone is an ion (sort of) which is why it’s good at carrying phosphate. Consequentially however it needs to be combined with something to be able to be a powder and absorbable by your body. Monohydrate just means one water attached and is the industry standard. HCL is newer and less well-studied but seems like it’s more efficient (your body pisses less of the creatine out).
TLDR HCL is more expensive but you can take less of it for the same effect, useful if creatine makes you nauseated.

Well just in the names themselves
      >creatine monohydrate
      >hydrochloric acid
Thats one difference right off the bat
