Considering that you should be training articulations, not just muscles, there is no popular movement that includes spine flexion. If you aren't training spine flexion directly with abs, you can't say you are training the body fully. You're lacking.

Full body every other day, with a chest focus on days 1 and 3 and a back focus on 5 and 7. Weighted leg lifts on day 2, weighted cable machine abs on day 4, weighed leg lifts again on day 6.

Even on tren my abs don't grow without training them, you have to train them they won't magically grow

it's good as a basis but it takes time and you will build them anyway along other lifts within time (years)
It's one of those things you could be doing something else instead and that would be a better use of your time specially if you have only so much time to workout in the gym
however if you are not constrained by time, sure why not? add abs every other day
also if you have flat abs you might have to, but to find that out you would need to also have low body fat percentages
