Sleepmaxing query

I'm thinking one of my 2024 goals should be going to bed at around 10pm and waking up at 7am for a good nine hours' sleep. But I'm worried that going to bed at 10pm might be considered 'sad' by my peer group...should I wait until midnight and sleep for seven hours?

Sleep whenever you want and however allows you to have a consistent sleep schedule. Frick what others think. At least you don't have a job that throws your hour around like a dick in the wind.

Not setting an alarm whenever you can is crucial. Lets your body do its thing, get enough sleep, and wake up naturally

Completely wrong. Waking up at the same time every day is the key. Once you sleep in your sleep cycle changes then you inevitably lose a lot of sleep when you need to wake up to the alarm

        >same time every day
In 2023 this is a luxury of the rich. And not even all of the rich just the privileged few with more money than they know what to do with and those who grew up with rich families who don't have to worry about money.

The rest of us are either killing ourselves at a corporate job, or are subject to such shit economic conditions are working 2 to 3 different jobs just to get by. Can't get to bed at the same time because you're pulling late nights working on some big project, or you're having to switch your sleep schedule at least once a week to do one of your other jobs.

Your peer group also probably enjoys eating trash, wageslaving all week and drinking like a fish at the weekend. If that's who you want to be then go ahead, follow your friends.

    >go about my daily responsibilities
    >feel dopamine crash from caffeine by evening
    >sleep like a child
    >alarm wakes up next day at 6
    >follow this till sleep cycle is back to normal

The key is to consume caffeine as soon as you wake up early in the morning so by evening your system slows down and you feel the energy crash post supper. Ofcourse, physical exercise during the day will accelerate this process.

You certainly don't need 9 hours of sleep, that's too much. If you know you can fall asleep quickly and you plan on waking up at 7am, just go to bed at 11.

Trump sleeps 4 hours per day, and is probably the healthiest and most active 77 year old I've seen till date.
Leonardo Da Vinci just took a few 30min naps every night.
Nikola Tesla slept only 2 hours per night.
In Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 6 verse 16 warns against oversleeping.
Jesus spent his entire nights awake and praying.
1 Thessalonians 5:6 repeats the wisdom.
Plato said man should be at work 24 hours of the day.

You were warned, but you didn't listen, OP.
