        Salt is good for you. Any extra sodium is pissed and sweated out. Fat and carbs aren't bad either. You can eat 20 times the recommended sodium intake and be totally fine. People used to eat way way way more salt than they do today and yet they had low heart disease and hypertension. Salted pork used to be one of the most common foods.

          From the 17th thru 19th century the Royal Navy served salt beef, salt pork and salt fish on a daily basis. In addition there was ship's biscuit (like a dehydrated bread roll), some kind of cheese, peas and oats, along with whatever fresh stuff they could get their hands on. Plus either a pint of rum or a gallon of beer.
          About 5000cal daily, not including the alcohol, high salt, as high fat as they could make it, as much carb as you could get, ridiculous amounts of booze, plus hard labour.
          The sailors were some of the fittest men around at the time and would no doubt mog pretty much all of us today.

    Depends on what you mean by "unhealthy" and "healthy". Everything can be a poison and poison can be a cure. So if you are generally healthy you can eat an ice cream, the thing is, most people don't eat a lot of it. Following the ice cream example, it can be made from different ingredients and have quality nutrients that will be beneficial to you, or it can be made only from sugar and packed with artificial flavoring so you develop cravings and buy more of it and never get your fill. In any case it's not a good idea to eat a lot of it and normal non-obese person won't do it, but in case with artificial flavoring and sugar it's easy to get carried away and eat more than you want to right?
    But generally unhealthy for me means using drugs, smoke, drink etc. If you want have good slice of pizza does it mean it's going to do any harm to you? I don't think so, it will definitely make you feel good and can be beneficial. I don't see any point in calling it unhealthy, even water can be unhealthy so what's the point?
