Basically he says not to do it because you’ll hate it and you’ll likely develop some kind of eating disorder or exercise disorder if you do it
Basically
1. Eat all your calories from protein only and eat very little calories (basically like 250g protein for 1,000 calories)
2. Do high volume workouts only with tons of reps and training to failure
3. Do cardio after every training session
Basically your calories are extremely low while eating high protein, but the calories you’re getting is 100% protein, and you do high volume training for weights, and you do cardio, and by doing this you basically burn fat like fricking crazy
It works but it’s insanely hard to stick to, oh and by the way, he only says you should do this if you’re like 10% bodyfat trying to get to 5% bodyfat, not if you’re 20-30% body fat trying to get to 10%, hence why he says not to do it because 99.99% of people who read the book (in his own words, his as in Lyle) are probably 20-30% bodyfat and can diet down to 10% using traditional methods because they would ever require something as extreme

The most valuable thing in there is the stubborn fat cardio protocol, pic related. There's a bunch of science stuff behind it, but I don't care about that, I just know I lose fat more quickly doing this once per week than if I only did the 20-40 minutes of LISS listed in the middle of that session. It's disproportionate to the calories the sprints supposedly burn, too.
Yeah, you only need to do HIIT cardio once a week, in addition to your normal workouts, which you should spread out to twice a day. Cardio early, then lifting later.

I get it in 5mg capsules, so it's only three for me now that I've lost some weight. Used to do four.
It's basically just used before cardio to improve mobilization of fatty acids from stubborn areas. If you're not trying to optimize fat loss on a cut, you can skip it.

I am rn, dropped a good chunk of weight but I have shit hanging on my love handles/lower stomach.
Last time I took berberine/yohimbine heavily I had some liver pain but looking back I think the berberine had some wierd chinese contaminants in it.
It's basically not possible to get actual yohimbine on the market anymore so don't worry about it

If you read his articles on his website and stuff he's come around to more p-smf approach and has what he calls metabolic and tension training. Tension being just normal lifting albeit at a reduced volume because gains on these kinds of diets are impossible. The metabolic training which is either done on other days or after the main session which is low rest sets (pretty much pause-sets) of about 25 which falls off dramatically as they go on because you're just depleting the shit out of glycogen.

I'm actually struggling now to go frrom ~15% to <12% bf, as a lifetime natty i find it so hard and feel so tired all the time, my sleep is shit, my mood is swinging harder than ever but somehow i have more than enough energy to workout 5-6 days a week with same volume and my libido is crazy high, i think i might try high protein and cut carbs and fats to bare minimum for the last 3 weeks of mu cut
Ps the only place i hold fat now is lower abs and love handles
