When is a man fit? Not elite, just fit. Use whatever standards you want and as many as you want, but be objective. Such as
>BMI, 1/2/3/4, miletime, measurements, visible abs
When is a woman fit? You don't have to use the same standards you used for men.

    A man is fit if he can be invited to any reasonable athletic activity and handle himself. Whether that's moving furniture, a pickup game of basketball, splitting wood, or a10 mile hike.

    A woman is fit if she can walk up 3 flights of stairs with a baby in her arms.

    You are not fit if you're a man and:

    >you can't do about 8 pull-ups
    >you can't do about 10-12 proper push-ups or dips
    >you can't run 1km in under 4:30; can't run non stop for 5k.
    >can't BP 1plate

    I think I'm being reasonable here, I'm not asking anything extreme. Anyone who's a little bit active or athletic should do the above no problem.

      Those pressing standards are extremely lenient. You should at least be able to bench your body weight, really you should be benching significantly more than your body weight for reps.

    When he works out at least 3x a week weights or cardio, participates in a sport regularly, and/or does a physically strenuous hobby such as water skiing or surfing. And imo his diet should be somewhat regulated to his physical needs just to cap it off. BF below 25%

    I know there’s people above my said body fat levels that fit in the physical activity category but they’re not really fit to me. Does a sumo wrestler fit into my definition? No and they’re not quite “fit” as a fiddle are they?

    1/2/3/4, 6-minute mile, 10 pull-ups. Simple as.
    HOWEVER, if you want to talk above average fitness, 2 plate clean and jerk and a muscle up. Most people can’t pull that off.

    Why do you all care so much about running? It's objectively a bad form of exercise. Excessive cardio doesn't even help you. 30 minutes on an elliptical 3x a week will give you all the cardiovascular training you will ever need with no stress on your knees.

    Pullups BW x 10 reps
    Sub 60s 400m
    Sub 20 min 5km
    Things that will take a bit of work but is achievable for every man
