Fiber giving you gas is a sign of poor gut health.

your gut bacteria will adapt over time and you won't be so gaseous

Reduce fiber to an amount that doesn't cause GI problems, stay there for a bit and then gradually increase until the large amount you're talking about doesn't cause issues anymore. Simple as. One does not simply start a high fiber diet after having a low fiber diet.

      >do something good for your gut
      >it starts acting up

why are we designed like this

Not really any different than exercising. If you've been neglecting your body for years, then exercising is going to be miserable and you will be very sore. Neglect your gut and you're going to fart until your biome returns to normal.

Is this good advice? I am not a vegetarian or anything. I just used to be very fiber deficient. I would eat vegetables often, but that was my only source of fiber and I would eat out once or twice a day. Sushi, ramen, hamburger and other stuff that is fatty and lacking in fiber.

Now I'm meal prepping and using brown rice instead of white, whole wheat pasta etc, just more fibrous alternatives and I am feeling better, but today it was difficult at work. Went to take a shit once everyone left the office and I literally shat 1cl of shit, while farting for 15 minutes straight. Was pretty crazy

I can attest to the gut bacteria one. Get prebiotics and probiotics to accelerate the process of developing a healthy gut fauna.

I only eat fruits and vegetables and nuts and legumes. I don’t eat meat, dairy, or carbohydrates.

I get all my nutritional value from raw and cooked fruits and veggies, and protein from nuts and legumes. I feel extremely healthy and most of my health problems went away after switching to this diet. Additionally my hair loss reversed and the quality of my hair has thickened and shines more. And my skin cleared up and glows now. Plus my sex drive has increased, I can easily go several times a day.

if you're eating fruits, veggies, and legumes then you're eating carbohydrates. Are you trolling? How does someone not know this?

I eat a lot of oats, fruit, veg and potatoes and noticed I feel a lot better when I don't eat any form of legumes, specifically way less gassy.

The answer is give it a few days for your body to adjust moron. Either that or you are eating some absurd way over the top diet.

Youre gut gets used to it pretty quickly, give it a week or two. I can munch on lentils and oats all I want and get no farts. Also make sure to soak and rinse them properly, rookie mistake to neglect that. Once foaming is mostly gone during rinse after soaking it's good to cook & eat.

colonoscopy followed by a rigorous diet to restore your gut biome

followed by a meat, nut, dairy, and very specific functional veggies and fruits primarily for their micronutrients (banana/pineapple - bromeline, Onion and garlic - Quercetin, allisyn, broccolui and spinach if you insist on eating ruminant prey animal food)

You'll stop craving anything but meat nuts and dairy whenever your body adjusts, your test and libido will see dramatic improvement, and you'll be able to perform optimally for a hypertrophy or endurance routine, or simply maintain a lean physique with minimal effort

must be doing cardio on this diet, sorry casuals
