Yeah, it's a meme. That being said, what are you doing at 10 PM that's more productive than sleeping? My morning hours tend to be as productive as they come.

all the self-help bullshit about cold showers, waking up early, and meditating are bullshit if you're just trying to become a high-end human bean. It's all about what you do while you're awake, not a series of self-masturbatory routines and schedules that never actually put money in your bank account, improve your body's appearance and performance, or make your oneitis text you.

    4 am is too early
5:30 is perfect for me, I have time to workout, walk my dog, meal prep, shower and have some spare time before work

I think 4 am is kinda moronic. 5:00 (if your work starts early) or 6 am is a sweet spot. You still have time to hit your workout first thing in the morning or use that time to learn something, let's say second language or programming, maybe just reading out loud for example, anything. It is better to make something a habit if you do it in early hours after waking. And it is so nice of a feeling after day just started for everyone but already on a right track and did something what ordinary person just doesn't

    >6 hours of sleep
try sleeping from to 10 to 6. It's simply ideal.

Based and me-pilled. Plenty of time to lift, plenty of time to be social, plenty of time to sleep

This, before 6am it doesn’t make sense (assuming one has a 8am -5pm job schedule). I go to bed at 23:00 and wake up at 06:00, enter gym at 06:45 and ready to start working at 08:30.

I wake up before 4 purely for an egotistical purpose, I can sleep late and wake up late and probably get the same work done, but running before dawn in the dark makes me feel superior and is better than running in the day, early mornings are quieter and more peaceful with less people walking around.

    >wake up at 4am
    >take a shit
    >eat breakfast
    >get out of bed
    >trade crypto until 6pm while chain-drinking monster energy
    >go to sleep at 6 pm
    The hustle never stops

I think the effect is mainly that pretty much nobody is doing anything productive past sundown, most people just chill and watch TV, read a book or scroll social media
So by waking up at 4am, while your total awake time stays the same, your productive time becomes longer
