For a man it's over in your 60s if you haven't achieved anything. You're getting close to the end and you'll have started to lose your physical and mental abilities by then. It's closer than you think though. The days are long but the years ate short. Life is a blink and you don't have time to frick around forever. Recuperation from your efforts chasing success in some way is needed to not go crazy but it shouldn't be your primary goal, at least for a while. NEETbux do run out eventually and there comes a point where loneliness can impact even your physical health on top of your mental and physical health. You have to do something with your life if you don't want to go into the end miserable and regretting being born.

I’m almost 30 and I think I know what I want to do with my life. I want to buy some land and start a dog rescues/shelter. Idk that it’s the most substantial quest, or exactly the most significant one. I doubt it would take me to new heights, and I know it wouldn’t make me rich. But if that’s what I did with my life and left behind I think I could die happy and satisfied.

Go for it, mate. My mom is a neurologist and for the past 20 or so years that's been her dream. She put it on hold mostly due to me and my dumb frick brother. She's got lung cancer now and has 2 years to live tops.

There's really no "right" time to follow your dreams. The economy will always be shit or on the brink of going to shit, there's always going to be shit going on in your life that will make you second-guess yourself, and the older you get the harder *everything* gets. When you're 35-y-o and IST, elbow grease can carry you a long way. But at 65? Not so much...

I'm 34 and reaching the fork in the road where it's reform or rope. I guess I have 3 productive if not athletic decades left. I'll be fine. Probably gonna teach high school like a true loser.

I wonder how practical it would be to put off NEETing until 60-ish. My grandfather loved to read more than anything but had to give it up because he simply couldn't see well enough and no therapies available to him helped. He told himself his whole life there would be time for it when he retired.

The guy from Sons of anarchy tells one story where a producer woman saw him across the street and offered him an acting job but these stories always seemed so fake to me. Yes these guys are very handsome but do you know how many insanely attractive people audition every day and get rejected? There's a never ending stream of them but they dont get anywhere because to succeed in this business you have to suck dick. I bet these guys have sucked a lot of dick

Well that's the point really. Plenty of people do get shots like that, as is the case with Travis and Charlie. But they had something else to bring to the table, like they ended up being at least adequate actors for a part or were charismatic enough to leave an impression on the rest of the crew. Since neither of them are A list Hollywood types it's likely that they never had to suck on Harvey's pp to get ahead. I was surprised when Chris Pratt got so many big roles because he doesn't seem like the type to do g4p like most major actors. Just be handsome lmao

I am 34. On tuesday I take my final test to become a Class A (general engineering) licensed contractor. I'm going backpacking for 5 days and then when I get home I'm starting a construction company. I quit my job as a PM in construction in May, took the summer off and just studied and lifted. I am going to fricking succeed, Black folk
