Not OP and not vegan but the danger of high protein is that aminoacids like leucine and methionine trigger fat gain and contribute to tumor growth meanwhile protein reqs for bodybuilders are massively overblown because
a) weider needed to sell supplements and convince goyim that to be big you need shakes, not roids or squats
b) literally every study that shows high protein being beneficial for bodybuilders has them undereating glucose. Bcaas actually work as simple fuel for highly energetically demanding rebuilding of muscle tissue immediately post workout, but body is happy to use glucose for that.

In fact best bodybuilding food is split pea puree soup with croutons or someshit. Meat broth for taste. Pureed split peas are easily digested, their aminos are relatively balanced, bread balances them out further and adds a ton of glutamine that speeds up recovery. All this while being full of starch and slowly digested so you don't get insulin spikes like from whey or glucose. This + small amounts of liver before bed and egg in the morning is all you need food macros wise.
