Stop telling women to do full body

I swear any women that come here for advice are just told to lift, or told to do holistic lifting.

She doesn’t need fricking lats or delts or traps. She just needs adductors, abductors, glutes, quads. Now there’s a lot more bulky and beefy ladies on here wondering “now what” or upset they’re starting to look manly. (And they still don’t know how to pose)

            like i said, tastes will vary and putting what you are comfortable with or want for yourself first is what matters. if you do want to lean in to your natural attributes and go the ogre-mode route picrel is kind of an idea of where that can go for bustier girls. you aren't at all limited, bulking and cutting and switching up programs are there to allow you to experiment with your physique. as for body fat measurements i have to disagree with

            Reduction only helps if theyre REALLY big and you’re way too too heavy, or they’re already saggy at the ripe old age of 23. I know what you mean about herion chic, even Disney channel girls used to be VERY VERY slim and it left an imprint. But you do have to accept you’re just not built that way, and if you want you can definitely still change it. Start using one of the calorie tracker apps and see how much abouts you’re actually consuming and what your macros look like if you don’t already, and try to gauge your body fat % if you can. You can try the tried and true tape measure test, as FEMALE visual charts have a lot of variation.

            and say that bf% calipers are far superior to any of the tape measure tests for a simple and economical way to measure bf%.

                first off, based on your body composition do you want to cut, caloric restriction to lose weight trying to eliminate bodyfat, or bulk, caloric surplus to add lean mass? you need to get a handle on what your bf% is right now and what a broadly good weight range at a healthy bf% is for your height and build. i mentioned calipers as the best economical way to measure bf% and you can get those here: https://www.amazon.com/Accu-Measure-Fitness-3000-Body-Caliper/dp/B000G7YW74 . it all comes down to tracking, in cut phase that you're losing a good amount of weight in bf per week and in bulking that a good % of the weight you gain is lean mass. being afraid of bulking is a common form of self sabotage. you just have to accept some % of the mass you gain will be fat but understand the goal is to add muscle that will remain long term while fat can be cut cycled back off. these are the extreme basics but as long as you have enough of a handle on this stuff and are keeping to diet+program for your goals at the time there really isn't anything to be scared of.

                the principles are the same for men and women. the sex based differences come in things like ability to add lean mass, where, and how fast. a lot of women can get frustrated by bulking because they just can't add lean mass like men can, especially in the upper body. as long as you understand the basic cut/bulk principles and stick to diet+program you'll still make progress even if it takes time.

                I don't mind losing a few more pounds, I can go down to 113 max at my height. I'd like to gain muscle more than anything, powerful legs would be nice to have.

                there are great pts and awful pts. i have seen others experience and experienced myself going in to a pt at an average gym, giving them an outline of goals and ideal timeline to reach them, state of diet, etc and then they just give you the same crappy cookie cutter circuit workout they give everyone. that kind of pt is just there for your money and will likely talk down to you even if you're already at or near their level of fitness knowledge. at least try and find someone with an actual background in strength sports or bodybuilding and knowing everything you've said about your goals it may be worth it for you to just find a bodybuilding coach who does more general pt type fitness coaching as well. good luck femanon, wagmi

      Training muscle won't reduce breast tissue and it also won't necessarily reduce fat either.
      If you're so fat that a significant portion of your breasts will be lost by losing weight you need to realize men find excess fat more unappealing then they find breasts that are only large due to fat attractive.         Nope. Idk how this is so har for both men and women to understand, but you can’t look like whatever you want. Your genetics lock you into a specific body type. The best move is to optimize you specific body. If you have big breasts/curves then you should see lay into those strengths and go natty ogre mode without obsessing over having low bf (which is also unhealthy for women). If you were a skinny chick with no breasts or ass at all then going full otter mode with an emphasis on glutes would be best. Use common sense

          Keep your current diet for the most part only adding greater protein intake. Do basic weights and cardio. Progress at a normal rate and read up proper form and technique. Don't trust shitty social media routines or memes, you can find something from muscle and strength dot com for starters, it tells you everything.
          This seems like a simple case of needing to redistribute rather than bulk or cut. Note, progress takes a long time, so be prepared for that. After a few months however you start enjoying it and never want to miss workouts, so there's that.

                Surgery for a breast reduction in hopes of achieving a waiflike figure, but I would have to worry about my hips and thighs so there's no point in a reduction.                 Reduction only helps if theyre REALLY big and you’re way too too heavy, or they’re already saggy at the ripe old age of 23. I know what you mean about herion chic, even Disney channel girls used to be VERY VERY slim and it left an imprint. But you do have to accept you’re just not built that way, and if you want you can definitely still change it. Start using one of the calorie tracker apps and see how much abouts you’re actually consuming and what your macros look like if you don’t already, and try to gauge your body fat % if you can. You can try the tried and true tape measure test, as FEMALE visual charts have a lot of variation.

The best move is to optimize you specific body. If you have big breasts/curves then you should see lay into those strengths and go natty ogre mode without obsessing over having low bf (which is also unhealthy for women).
