    my friends brother was telling me that my skinnyfat friend who doesn't go to the gym, has better genetics than me, which would make him stronger and better looking than me if he started going to the gym, because when he was a child/teenager he had visible abs without working out (we've been friends for 5 years, he's been skinnyfat for those 5 years).
    also when we were in highschool, before i started lifting, the teacher made us do bench press as a test, his was 20 kg lighter than mine. the brother ignored that fact by saying "since it was at school he wasn't even serious".

        yeah i think so too, tried getting him into the gym many times but he won't budge, was laughing through that whole conversation, the argument seemed very silly, especially the strenght part, since it was already proven my friend is weaker than me

    Safe to say I've ignored everything here and hit 1/2/3/4 for reps with no injuries. Turns out after a few million years of iterative progress, the human body is resilient and adaptive. Who could ever have known this.
