Imagine thinking you know more about how to eat rice than entire populations who lived on rice for thousands of years. Hm I wonder why all of them went through the extra work to process brown rice into white rice when they could have just eaten brown rice?? idk beats me fiber is soo great.
What a moron. Enjoy your arsenic and phytic acid (nature's gains goblin).
oh and pesticides, too. I forgot brown rice has more pesticide residue than white rice.
Seriously though, imagine voluntarily eating the husk of a plant and then bragging about it online. I wonder if OP takes psyllium husk too. This (alleged) apex predator just can't stop eating plant husks and then bragging about it. This world is topsy-turvy.
>he thinks they did this because it was oh so nutritious so they could bench 3pl8 in planet fitness
they refined rice because it could be stored longer, homosexual, brown rice can not be stored for longer than 5-6 months
>homosexual, brown rice can not be stored for longer than 5-6 months
tell that to the brown rice I just made that has probably been in my pantry for >2 years
This has to be a bot from some instant-rice peddler. No one knowledgeable actually thinks like this. We've known the benefits of whole grains ever since food science became a real thing. And it's not a big secret.
Speaking from personal experience, my gas/bloating dropped to an absolute minimum (i.e., a handful times a day, the majority preceding a bowel movement) the moment I switched to a low/no fiber diet. Plenty of lentils, beans, oats, lots of insoluble fiber before. I was constantly ripping ass, had to have smelt horrible, and the supposed benefits to bowel movements never manifested. All it did was add bulk, and allot of it, to my diet. In fact, I'm fairly confident the bulk caused new issues or exacerbated current but benign issues (i.e. hemorrhoids )
I remember when I used to post about keto and disregarded anons cautions
now people are cautioning against brown rice and i dont want to suffer needlessly more
i am currently eating brown rice a few times a week instead of white, which i used to. White gives me high BP whereas brown makes me feel great, but am i really putting myself at risk?
be honest with me anons, i can just not eat brown rice, its not hard, but its tasty and convenient and i've gotten into the habit of cooking it
Brown rice is fine. As long as you enjoy it and you're not eating enough to gain weight who gives a shit. People are so obsessed over individual foods. Brown rice isn't gonna be the reason you drop dead at age 40.
I get legit high blood pressure from white rice. I think I've overall had a bad diet for a while and I'm currently trying to improve. Increasing fiber intake has helped enormously and I no longer get high blood pressure. A big part of this is whole grains pasta and brown rice, but then I hear about these arsenic stuff, so I'm not sure if switching to whole grains will produce other problems down the line.
White rice legitimately gives me high blood pressure immediately as I consume it, and I've tested for diabetes, and I don't have it. 22 BMI, nothing wrong with me, so wondering. Brown rice's improved my health a lot, but wondering if it'll hurt me in other ways later.
Doesn't this defeat the whole purpose of rice? Brown rice is much more satiating which makes it harder to eat lots of it, but if you want something more satiating (bc cutting) then you can just eat potatoes which have much more micronutrients, and you also won't have to deal with arsenic concerns. Just don't see the point really

>husks are bad
>i peel my potatoes because in america farmers put poison on the husk which we have to remove
absolute state of fricking morons
I see through your dirty tricks, israelite. Potatoes are good but potato skins are not.

hehe you've been through a lot you're in a better place now
how 'bout you lean into my dick?

Asians are the shortest, weakest race on the planet. Do not look to them for nutritional advice.
>Implying most people here arent full of shit due to zero-fiber diets
fiber is indigestable and rots in your gut. plant eaters smell horrible. every carnivore has better digestion and bowel movements than plant eaters.

get your fiber from carrots. Jasmine rice is goat
guys should i worry about arsenic in brown rice?
Yes. Arsenic in rice is what killed Rich Piana.
No, overblown nonsense
carbs are literal poison
no it's starch, gluten, and glyphosate in grains that are the poison
Youre moronic ass backwards beliefs are the poison

Holy shit your brain doesnt do anything does it?
I'm guessing you're a ketotard. Enjoy your hypothyroidism
You need to do at least 10 reps to hit max hypothyroidism

my brain has enough sugar to function, thank you very much
because ketogays spam every thread and think their diet is the only diet people should be doing.

irish people used to eat dirt
Because not having runny shit is a privilege of the sane and competent.
I tried fibre but put on 8lb, back to white pasta for me.

Is brown rice even healthier or is it only healthy because it has less carbs and more protein?
Also apparently I need a $300 Japanese rice cooker to cook it well.
