Only works if you're not ugly, same with everything else
An ugly man with long hair is vastly more valuable than a short haired ugly slave
Nah long hair is an amplifier. If you’re tall, fit and handsome then long hair will make you even better
If short and ugly it will just make you look greasy and dirty
Greasy, curly, israelitehair is always a massive deduction.
For some reason, most men who get long hair always have that gross, greasy curly hairstyle or are morons who genuinely think long hair = never visit a hairdresser.
height has literally nothing to do with it
I’m gonna have to disagree on this. It’s really an individual thing. Some guys look good with long hair and bad with short, some guys look good with short hair and bad with long hair. I’d say it’s bit how some women can pull off short hair but even a lot of beautiful ones cannot. Pic related is decently handsome with short hair but I wouldn’t use that description with long hair
Yeah, long hair is worse here.
it helps even if you're ugly as long as it doesn't look dirty
pic rel me right now, angle frauding because I have no chin
how do you get your hair cut? what do you ask? do you give instructions? i am going thru the awkward phase and dont know how to cut it
you dont cut it lmao
basically this
I simply didn't cut it for 1.5 years or so, coming from a buzzcut
but if I'd were to cut it, I'd go to a nice place where they actually work with long hair and ask them for advice
don't go to a barber shop that only does buzzcuts and brocoli hair, they'll frick it up
lmao i remember you. you posted this same video last year. I tried explaining this drawing to the buzzcutter i went and he was confused
Basically get the DiCaprio/Curtains Very short in the back(this is crucial)
Then let It grow.
You just have to spend a year in the awkward phase. Lots of dudes I know did this during covid lockdowns. Wear hats for a while, or sweatbands at the gym or something.
just let it grow to just past shoulder length then get like an inch trim
John Lennon?
What are you talking about, you have a huge chin. I am literally laughing into my coffee that this is where we're at in 2023 that dudes like you think - not just think that you have a weak chin which you don't but "no chin". I wish I had your chin. Your jaw isn't the strongest ever no. As for the hair, yeah looks good I guess. Hard to tell anything from a side profile.
not really, people often use long hair to hide their facial flaws, especially women
I disagree. I'm a fatso uggo and my hair brings me from like a 2 to a 4 at least. In fact it's my only good quality.
Yeah dude, its definitely your hair that determines your social standing, not how much money or influence you have.
Cannot wait for summer to end so short hair hater guys can go back to high school lol
Baldie cope
Seeing manlet baldies like you seethe and get upset at my extremely large head of hair I can't help but laugh. They'll never have my lion's mane.
I’m not bald, I have medium length hair right now, and had long hair before. Shorter just looks 10x better for reasons you both will understand when you get older and grow out of IST
I have long hair and the only, I repeat the ONLY people that tell me to cut it are balding. Everyone else showers me with compliments.
Not sure what you’re expecting, everyone on this board has weird taste, including myself. All long hair guys look the same to me. I’ve talked with various women who think long hair is shitty. Maybe it works well for you because you have good facial features, but a good face shrouded in hair is still shrouded. From a not too far distance it looks similar to every other long hair guy. I won’t post myself, so believe what you want about a funny basket weaver Internet personality
>all long hair guys look the same
On the other hand, I think all bald guys look the same
>actually believes anyone against him trying to look like whatever anime character he saw to make him think long hair is ok is bald
You’re speaking into the void here, idiot
That greentext gave me a
How about you post a picture of yourself?
Post hairlines
>we wuz kings and warriors n sheeeit
Keep coping. You look homeless.
These aren't ancient times and you aren't a warrior or royalty. You are an ugly nerd.
Holy kek balding is really bad on fit huh
Roudtrannies often lose their hair
hair is so important, no point denying it
yeah but the year is 2023 and long hair/beard were ruined by soiboys
This.
Let's kill ourselves now since soiboys are also alive like us.
Really makes me think op is a homosexual
Most dudes with long hair look like pudgy greasy metalheads that came out of the same factory.
>muh kangz n sheit
You're a wagie working in a cagie. In ancient times you'd get fricked in the ass and die to some disease as a virgin.
i am trying
a razor is a tool designed for cutting or removing hair from the body or other surfaces. It typically consists of a sharp-edged blade that is used to trim hair close to the skin's surface. Razors have been used for centuries in various cultures for personal grooming purposes.
too much effort to manage and I'm not a woman
Useless hairstyle. Hard to maintain, gets greasy too fast, unfomcortable overall. Skin fade is the Roman emperor's preferred hairstyle
That's one ugly interieur.
it only gets so greasy cause you're stripping the natural oils every single day with shampoop
based, I can't imagine the pain of working out with long hair, and having to style that shit everyday after sweating
>not mulletmaxxing
I dont have the need to LARP as some ancient royalty unlike other >people
>in ancient times
It’s not ancient times anymore
For those of you who have long hair, how do you reduce the amount of time needed to maintain it? I look good with long hair, but it's too inconvenient.
Depends a lot on your hair quality/ethnicity. I use conditioner roughly once a month (Mane and Tail), and just lightly wet it in the morning to comb it down. My hair is soft, no grease, and no dandruff.
You should try to cut out as much BS as possible to see if your hair's natural state is tenable.
Thanks, lads. I have blonde/ginger hair, red beard. Quite thick. My skin is very greasy and my hair gets greasy quickly also. I am also very sweaty when I work out.
Because of all that, I need to wash my hair regularly. I am open to using only water without soap or shampoo though.
Some people do just naturally have greasy hair.
It's an evolution that's now mal-adaptive since our hair doesn't matter for survival.
If "no product" washing still leaves you greasy, try Mane and Tail conditioner. Besides some sulfates it's practically inert, not overly fragranced or engineered. It's the closest thing you can get to a strictly utility conditioner, and is the only thing I've put in my hair for the last decade.
>how do you reduce the amount of time needed to maintain it
I only wash it twice a week
no, it doesn't look dirty or greasy
if I sweat a lot I'd wash it with only water, no poo whatsoever
Don't wash it too often, maybe twice a week. Apply a small amount of jojoba+argan oil after washing. Brush daily, applying a tiny bit more oil if it's getting tangled. I have dry thin straight hair so this might not apply to everyone.
Bonus tip, girls *love* brushing long hair on guys.
Yeah my wife loves the long hair.
thanks for the advice, I'll keep that in mind for when it gets longer.
Don't listen to the conditioner shill. All you need is 100% organic raw virgin coconut oil
Wash your hair with only cold water (I do all the way cold on my tap). Then run the oil all the way through your hair from scalp to tip. Only needed a couple times a week for me
I have tried this before. The oil never comes out of my hair and goes rancid shortly after and stinks.
I rinse it every day with cold water, then comb it dry.
I use raw eggs once or twice a week, rinse with cold water, then comb it dry.
That's it.
Dreadlocks.
Zero maintenance, just sun and sea.
White people with dreadlocks are white trash hippies
Shampoo once every 3 months or so. Water rinse in shower every day. Been growing hair out 3.5 years.
Boar bristle brush + using your hands/fingernails to spread oil and clean scalp. Do this daily.
I would but I like hats too much
Legit question: what hats do you wear?
I try them repeatedly but always dump them.
Tried wide-brim, but face is too narrow.
Tried cabby/low-key types, but not generically pudgy enough.
Everything else just seems like larping or makes you look like an undercover cop.
not him but I wear cheap straw hats during summer
people laugh sometimes and that gives me confidence somehow
I have a southern accent and live in NYC. I can't do straw-hats without making everyone think I'm doing some performance bit. But props to you for weaponizing "Frick yah, I'm owning it" attitude.
I'm not meaning this as disparaging, but what's your build? Deerstalkers, fedoras, and newsboy caps are all styles I aggressively avoid because I'm "artist thin" and they immediately make me smell of Williamsburg. Everyone I know who pulls them off has a huskier build.
I quite thin, and too be honest, not the fittest. I am 184cm tall and I weight 74kg.
I have some visible muscles, and pretty broad shoalders.
That does not matter that much, because I usually wear thick clothes in winter so the layers make me look bigger and it balances everything out
Though I wear flat caps in the summer while having on just a shirt/polo and trousers on and I often get complimented on my style. Worse you can do is not be confident in what you wear.
That's probably the crux. I can dress like I robbed Johnny Depps' waste-bin and be fine, but the minute I slip a hat on I'm on high-alert for critical looks.
Well, there are so many hat shapes and sub types of them thay you should eventually find something for you.
A youtube channel called "gentlemans gazette" nade a specific guide for face shapes and hate based on pre WWII guidelines.
And look at pre war fashion drawings for inspiration.
I'll check those out, thanks. I have a very "old America" appearance, so those will probably be a better direction than modern trends.
This is the look I strive for lol.
Anything modern that tries to imitate formal menswear. I really hate the skinny shit
Skinny ties, skinny lapels, skinny fit.
They ruined suits and wonder why nobody wears them
I have 3 flat caps. The "newsboy" style.
Thats what I usually wear
I also often wear a tweed deerstalker hat (the one sherlock holmes usually wears).
When I am less casual and put on a neck tie I like to wear a rabbit fur fedora.
Classic hats and caps dont look LARPy if you dress correctly to the classic menswear style.
I wear all of that too school, my friends dont make fun of me, usually want to wear my hats. I have become the hat guy and that is my hallmark.
Most important thing when getting a hat, dont buy cheap mass produced shit.
Opinions varied through history. Warriors were often portrayed as having long hair, but in reality often had short hair to reduce the risk of it being grabbed in combat. This doesn't apply to all people at all times (only a mouth breather would make that kind of claim), but it is said that this inspired the first mullets, since the long hair in the back was more protected.
Just be a rich , famous and chiseled actor goys.
Ok dick.
Im at at awkward phase with my hair growth journey and the lack of volume on top is killing me. I actually have a hair appointment tomorrow to cut it all off and get some sort of fringe instead. Maybe some of you will convince me to not to.
i swear IST is 80%+ bald/balding. They seethe at anyone with hair these days.
well, I've been norwood III since I was 6 (oldest pic a got) and according to IST I'm balding despite it staying the same after 20 years
No fricking way you’ve been norwood 3 since 6…
This is a solid norwood 3 btw
hey I've got to get my daily dose of being called a troony for not wanting to go bald from somewhere
My hair is way too wavy and is a pain when it gets longer
Kys
>not taking the soaplockpill
Long hair works only for a few certain people, and a lot of women will still not like you.
I personally cut my hair once every year or two but I don't pretend it makes me look better when it's long.
Truth is most people would look like shit with long hairs. It's all about the face
Chris Hemsworth can literally do and wear whatever the frick he wants and he will have millions of girls and women wanting to have his children
This is probably my autism but the vanity of you guys is embarrassing. Have had long hair and short hair and the obvious choice is short hair.
Long hair
+feels good to comb
+hides forehead somewhat
+less money spent on barber
-a lot of maintenance
-you'll probably look DYEL, skelly
-hair everywhere
-need hair bands and ""product"" just to look ok
Short hair
+step out the shower and you're done
+looks masculine
+not afraid to hide your baldness genes -> confidence
+hats, caps and headphones fit (he who needs hats is weak but still)
+wind feels nice
The folks advocating long hair here probably have a receding hairline, hence the cope. Anyone who has bald genetics will benefit from just shaving it, literally anyone. It might look weird at first but eventually everyone will get used to it and accept it. I have a very strong hair (literally grows from a shave to a number 7 in like a month) and couldn't see myself wearing anything longer than a buzzcut, specially not in this scorching summer heat.
>+not afraid to hide your baldness genes -> confidence
lol
>he thinks confidence makes up for balding
ohnonononohahahahaha
Quite ironic. My hair finally gets the length were you could consider it somewhat along, especially since it's wavy and in the back it curls (SHOW NOSE, no). And now I start to bald in the front, making it all completely senseless.
I think I can live with a somewhat bald head, cut it short first and see. But it's the irony. 33 now btw, it started january this year pretty obvious on the left temple. And now last 1-2 months right side (before that it was somewhat ok, but now it's bogged). Was thinking to cut is anyways, but for some reason I have the feeling I will miss them.
Especially since the side and back are full. A frickin carpet of hair. I lose insane amounts and it's full, but the front is thinning and in combination with my face shape it only makes it worse with long hair. (triangle, wide jaw, narrow forehead).
It really is a lot of effort. Wind fricks it up, rain also, especially curly hair. At least I saved some money.
You'll regret it if you cut and you'll regret it if you don't. NEVER look back unless it's for self reflection. Regret is for those that can't take their mind off the 'what if?'. Make up your mind and live with your decisions. Keep an eye for the future, not the past. Even less the past that could have been. Think of the man you can be tomorrow.
General advice to all long hair guys who say
>BALDIE
You can say that past your 30s.
I'm
Cause around 30 you really start realizing the effects of aging.
I also didn't expect it to happen and it may only be thinning, I'll see, but you never know. So even with full head of hair in late 20s it can still happen. I'm gonna post a pic of me with 31 when I started growing hair out.
Dezember 2021
Frickin phone
currently going through the awkward phase of hair growth, my hair is also very thick and has mind of its own in many regards so i'm not sure if this will work out
Cut it
Long hair is annoying as hell if it‘s thick
>hair gets in mouth one time.
nope that's fricking annoying never doing that again
Year ago I used to have a nice long straight hair and got complimented a lot. Ever since I've met up with my now ex b***h gf my hair got worse and worse. Its fricking thin and even if I wash and take care of it, it still looks like a mess. Advice bros?
just cut it bro, your time has passed
don't do it bros I almost trooned out because I thought my long hair made me look cute and I just spiraled out of control. I finally cut it off some time ago and my mind is as healthy as ever.
My wife likes it short, when its long I look like Jonah HIll
Have you guys been to a gym lately? Mostly middle aged or younger balding dudes
want to cut it like leown es kenadey
I don’t think there was a single king in history who wasn’t balding. Balding = high test dht = more masculine traits
Don’t fall for the israelite psyop, non balding men are inherently more feminine and less powerful in nature. If I wasn’t already balding at 6’3 235 lbs lean because of my high test and dominant masculine features, I’d shave my hair off and try to larp as a bald
It blows my mind when I see these twink feminine long haired men larping like they have good genetics. You objectively lost with lower test and less masculine features.
Unironically over for long haired men
male gaze cope
I’m more alpha than any man who has long hair. You’re a bottom frick toy for me
gay
big agree that long hair looks cool, if you have the face for it.
I love these threads. Every dude with long hair that posts is just begging to get turned into a woman by a bigger, stronger man. The AGP is palpable. I wonder how many of them take the time to play with their pussies properly every day? As OP stated long hair is for royalty and royalty loves being degenerate homosexuals cumming form their prostates
I hairmaxxed for quite a while. Although it's short now I highly recommend it. If you're not afraid to stand out a bit (or don't have israeli afro style hair) it's a very enjoyable experience
i wanna frick that vegana in your shoulder.
I haven't kek'd at anything on this site in a while except for this.
I miss my long hair some days, but the maintenance was such a b***h. I hated washing it and cleaning it because the dry time was at least an hour. I got called "miss" from behind once. which was funny, but also embarrassing.
I'm married, so I couldn't tell you if I got more/less girls with it.
Every man should grow their hair out at least once.
idk why IST rotates my photos, but this is me after the cut.
Mirin' phenotype
Miss? How short are you? No one is mistaking me at 6'7" with long hair for a woman lol. Are you built like a woman?

I want to but I have some diffuse thinning at the top of my head that prevents me. It didn't get worse in years but it didn't get better either.
I'm curly, I'm not dealing with a disgusting afro until it decides it's time to lay down
99.9% of the men look better with medium or short hair.
I had long hair in my late teens and early 20s. In the summer it’d be hot as Hell and it’d always get in my face. Now I have an undercut and I’ll never go back.
Long hair only looks good with a beard

Sleazecore maxxed out.
I've had long hair for years now, thinking of shaving it off.
I'm 28 and thinking of go picrel, my hairline hasn't show any signs of receeding, how long would it takes for my hair to reach that length?
Picrel is ~3.5 years of growth.
Very nice length that's mine about 2 years of growth. How often do you trim it?
I've not really cut it since March/April 2020 but some of the hairs near my ears have gotten trimmed with my beard so putting it up doesn't always work. I'm jealous of my buddy though, his is much thicker and 3" longer for growing in the same timeframe.
>Hairline also pretty fricked
Not trying to insult, this shit simply happens. And at this point you can't really tell if it is better to cut or not. You won't have the same look as with a full intact hairline. The risk to cut and be unhappy because you have the bad hairline and short hair is huge. Better keep the long hair and live with the hairline.
It's actually been exactly the same since high school 15 years ago. Sometimes it scares me that it's receding when I look too much at it, but it hasn't. I have nightmares about having a bald spot with this hair, though.
Give him hair like an extra in Vikings instead of that bad before pic
Oh, ok. I though you might have had a different hairline years ago.

Since there are no IDs I cant be entirely sure.
If you’re jacked you need to retain some feminine characteristics or you’ll look like a meathead or straight up gay
>need to retain some feminine characteristics
lmfao. wtf
He's thinking of that twink guy who started lifting, shaved his hair off and turned into a polish truckdriver.
having hair isnt feminine. wtf?
Have had long hair for a while
Going to get it cut next week
Getting the ceaser cut to try something new
And not that cringy skin fade ceaser cut done by clippers, but a true one.
Here here. Long hair is for us nobility.
How do I permanently remove facial hair? Beard, nosehair, etc. I don't want to shave anymore, it's fricking annoying.
you have to transition to a woman
the best way is to have a nice day and be born again as the oppressed gender
Your guys hair gets curly? My hair is straight lol curly looks silly
Not fitness related
sage
I’m sure someone’s said it but civilized people, Romans especially, had short hair. Barbarians had long hair which is why we associate it with Germans, Vikings, celts, etc
Wrong board
>Says long hair was for warriors and royalty
>Posts a picture of a sex toy who gets passed around by west coast movie producers
You didn't think it was just the women, right?
Long hair on men is repulsive.
If a man looks good with long hair, it's in spite of it, not because of it.
Long hair is the first step to taking the troony pill. Any man with long hair is now suspect of being a troony in waiting.
Sounds like something a repressing gay man would say.
