Just buy quality teeth whitening strips, I used crest 3D white and followed the directions and now my teeth look pretty good.
It only damages the gums and enamel shit if you try to use multiple boxes or keep them on for too long and it's only ineffective if you don't also brush your teeth while using them.
Only downside is it's ~$30 bucks but the better appearance to others is worth it.

Peroxide and dental strips really frick your teeth and make them sensitive. I would use baking soda instead

I tried those whitening strips and made my teeth super sensitive and my gum began receding, avoid strips.
Ideally whitening strips wouldn't be needed but if your teeth are fricked that brushing ain't fixing it then the discomfort is worth.
