I think this time it's for real. Don't have any withdrawal symptoms, don't miss it. Usually I buy a pack if some traumatic shit happens around me, but I think I shall desist next time it happens.
My dad smoked a lot all his life and is pretty close to dying now because of it, so would prefer to not end up like him. It's not a very nice way to go, he can barely breathe
Currently quitting the robo-wiener using nicotine spray, but ultimately it’s just trading one form for another and I’m still hooked on nicotine but I definitely feel a lot better than when I was vaping constantly so it gives me hope. Cold turkey is a special kind of madness I haven’t been able to achieve yet so I just have to work myself down to a point where the final plunge is possible without losing my sanity.
Makes me sad how many zoomers are hooked on this stuff in middle school or even earlier
I only smoke a pipe once or twice a day simply for the routine of it. Friends at work have been larping as Andrew Tate lately sitting around smoking cigars I’ll smoke one when someone tosses me a free one but I ain’t paying for that shit,
It helps me cut and has gotten my foot in the door with college aged girls, kinda expensive and bad for me but my retirement plan is dying by 50 anyway, so I'll call it a wash.
I get irritated when I don't smoke and use it to cope with stress or to think when I'm taking breaks from work. I also get really bored at bars when I don't smoke and drink even more to get over the fact that I'd rather go home early. When I have lots of fun things to do at work and little pressure I don't miss smoking at all.
