All the worst thing from roid are from blocking estrogen. And you decided to block natural levels of estrogen? Are you moronic?
Aswaganda blocks cortisol. The issue with that is that the sensetivity of your muscles to cortisol increases. In the 80s bodybuilders were blockinv it and as soon as the were off drugs, they were loosing all the gains in less yhan a month. It's a zero sum game. Just use it only ocassionaly when having lots of stress.

50mg a day made my hair start going white which is a sign of copper deficiency and it reversed when I stopped taking zinc and ate some organs. 15mg or lower is the max you should use. I used more because people at the time were talking about "elemental zinc" which is like 10-25% of the zinc tabs you're taking so I thought 50mg would be ideal. Also, western diets aren't low in zinc, at all. If you're not getting enough zinc you're just eating like a moron. Same with potassium.

It's a mineral that we hardly get anymore. Borax is just boron bonded to buric acid and it's just a mineral they mine out of the ground in california. GMOs made it so that soil quality doesn't have to be great to grow crops so you don't get those minerals anymore. It's clear we don't because the second anyone supplements it there's a massive reaction just like when someone with no zinc starts taking zinc.

        Anonymous

I believe borax is a boron salt which converts to boric acid in the stomach.
About 10% of the weight of borax is boron and the other 90% is salt, It turns in to boric acid in the stomach plus salt and water.
Then when the boric acid is in the body water it will release the boron ions for cellular activity.

Potassium iodide makes me to relax and kinda feel like shit or brain fog till the next day I have lugols I was only taking a drop once a week then did iodine salt similar effects. I'll get my thyroid tested again but why would I react negatively kinda to potassium iodide

        Anonymous

tl;dr when you're deficient in iodine (or any other mineral) it mobilizes the toxic metals and halogens that were squatting where your iodine, magnesium, zinc, etc. were supposed to go

so basically our FDA daily value for iodine is 250mcg cuz they (re)tested it on a bunch of poisoned normies

                >you should also be low bf% and lift
But the leydig cells don't release testosterone until they are told to by the brain. You can't force the leydig cells to release testosterone just by eating more cholesterol.
That's like trying to increase the horsepower of a car by putting more fuel into the tank.
Also the body makes at least 1000 mg of cholesterol per day and only 10 mg of testosterone per day. People who eat zero cholesterol like vegans have similar testosterone levels to people who eat a lot of cholesterol.

The delusion here. No, steroids do not cause more suicide.

Unless you've been living under a rock you would understand that more testosterone == more of who you were to begin with. Do many bodybuilders who are extremely vain and narcissistic struggle with depression and anxiety? Do most natural lifters hop on because they feel like they're not good enough at one of the only things they care about?

The use of any drugs are generally going to lead to a higher rate of death, weather it's suicide or associated health problems. There's a reason no Mr. Olympias have ever killed themselves. They took their passion to the next level and achieved the greatest accolade you can in bodybuilding.

The rest of the gym-rat steroid abusers, especially the new-gen - are all depression and anxiety ridden to begin with. The outcome is only potentiated when they realize that the thing they thought would fix their life only dug them deeper into the hole.

This is all snake powder. You can get actual testosterone for like $140 a cycle through a telehealth service, but it will frick your body up. Your reproductive and hormone system will never work at full capacity again, all for some bloated muscles. Not worth it. This shit simply put won't work the same way though. magnesium bicarbonate (diy) is the only magnesium worth taking. ZMA sucks. I think those "Calm" drink mixes are magnesium bicarbonate or something close so you could use those if you can't be bothered to mix some shit into soda water and shake the bottle.

Here's some random tutorial I found. You don't need a soda stream just mix it directly into a GV tonic water or club soda from walmart and shake it.

if supplements helps you sleep and train to begin with, then it's net more than +10

I think the 80-10 is pretty fair. But I do think some "supplements" should be considered in the 80 rather than the 10. Obvious example are whey, creatine, but less focused magnesium/zinc/potassium/sodium/boron/copper etc. Minerals are probably 10-20% on their own with how much impact they have. Another big one imo is garlic and ginger. These are all "supplements" but really I would consider it part of the diet.

Things like turkesterone (whether it's real or fake), or beta ecdy, epicatechin, etc. are definitely the final "10".

I think foundational adaptogens and other herbs or useful supps like GDAs/blood sugar controllers (berberine, c3g), cortisol modulators/ hormone enhancers (ash, tongkat, cistance, NAC etc.) can be life changing for some individuals, and even the placebo is more than enough in most cases for the mentally weak.

+10 is generous I would consider it a stretch to say +1. I have never taken a supplement that felt like it was doing shit. I've taken prohormones too, though I need to experiment with transdermal application.

Good callout. I eat a lot of garlic ginger and onions also.

Wait so taking zinc without copper is bad? does zinc compete for copper binding?

Zinc directly competes with copper absorption hence the recommendations to keep it at a ratio of 8:1, which is almost the same ratio as a 15mg zinc tab with 2mg copper. There's a few studies out there that claim it's exaggerated but I think they're cooked with my personal experience of zinc picolinate making my hair turn white. That zinc tablet was literally the only variable.

I think people are more likely to be low copper if anything. It's in plant foods, which everyone here is terrified of, and in organ meats which not so many people eat. Zinc meanwhile is overly prevalent in muscle meat and still biased in dairy. Zinc deficiencies are a gaslight by the supplement industry.

Some interesting thing I've learned from this thread and recently

                Anonymous

                why

Don't listen to this israelite. Boron is an essential mineral like Mag or Zinc and is lacking in most diets. Too much Boron, akin to too much Zinc or Magnesium can be detrimental. This is generally only seen in the long term and due to the intake of other minerals in excess. As mentioned in this thread, zinc both competes and ultimately depletes copper. On it's own, Boron has a wide array of benefits with little to no drawbacks.

Some people do find cycling it can keep those benefits more apparent, but this is likely just to to the cessation and reintroduction effect. It's kind of like taking ZMA for the first few weeks, your body "get's used to" the new baseline.

I've recently started adding Trace Minerals (which includes boron and others) to my RO water and noticed insane benefits. The caveat being that the minerals are in an optimal ratio as nature intends. I actually stopped supplementing with boron alone because of this. Highly recommend to everyone reading.

Not sure about the biological processes of caffeine, I drink stovetop espresso too but have cut back on coffee for the sake of reducing cortisol. Though I enjoy nicotine gum daily as a nootropic and it has a slightly different stimulating effect.

      >Zinc + Eggs
      >Zinc + Copper (maybe separate times in the day)
      >Iodine+Selenium+magnesium+Tumeric helps to unbind the halides
      >Calcium competes heavily against Zinc
      >Boron seems legit
      >Garlic Ginger and Onions good for test support
      >Eat Organ meats and plants

      Great stuff guys

yup as listed here. make sure to take it with some cofactors that help remove those bromine mercury and flouride while also protecting the thyroid from autoimmune issues that some people get with iodine

Reminder that all of these are horribly contaminated with all types of harmful shit, including heavy metals. You might see positive results from taking them once or twice, but taking all these pills for extended periods of time is not a good idea. As polluted as modern food is it doesn't compare to how poor the methods for production of these chemicals are. There are exceptions like aspirin and cyproheptadine, but for the most part it's good to keep some distance from this shit.

they're all lab tested to ensure purity, bulksupplements and purebulk has a PDF for each item, and there is no mercury, cadmium, lead or nickel involved in the process of making any supplement
i'm afraid you're 100% moronic and full of shit

You're past gullible if you believe those things. Every other month there is a scandal where supplements like these are tested independently and found to contain outrageous shit. And that's not even mentioning pill casings, fillers etc which are bought from china and assumed to be pure because that chinese lab said so. Even if that weren't so, the very processes of synthesizing these chemicals almost always produce harmful biproducts which are left in if the method is established. The lab-made instead of food business is rotten to the core.

link to the poisoned bag of vitamin C or zinc or whatever

I don't follow? I haven't mentioned either of those, but as an aside.
            >Over the next 20 years, my own increased sensitivity to synthetic ascorbate led me to look for such reactions in others. The same people who reacted to it often reacted similarly to riboflavin and rutin, which were also made from cornstarch by oxidation. I ascribed the reaction to some industrial contaminant that they had in common, possibly the heavy metals introduced with the sulfuric acid. The heavy metal contamination of synthetic ascorbate is so great that one 500 mg tablet dissolved in a liter of water produces free radicals at a rate that would require a killing dose of x-rays to equal. The only clean and safe vitamin C now available is that in fresh fruits, meats, etc. The commercial stuff is seriously dangerous."

Allegedly there are now some vit c brands which use the old method of synthesis from the 50s and are supposedly safer, but I haven't tried them.

Ash is great if you are under a ton of stress or need to cope with something. It potently reduces cortisol and increases GABA tone (glutamate vs gaba balance). One of it's main MOA's is agonizing the 5HT1a receptor which is akin to some popular SSRIs. Agonists are effective, but with a lot of receptors, agonizing will cause downregulation in the long term and make them less sensitive.

I would say most people would find benefit from it but those people would probably also benefit from a low dose SSRI. It can cause some anhedonia which is basically a lack of motivation and feeling. I took it daily for a while and got into some of the stronger exracts like Shoden and after around the 3rd day it makes me less motivated and ends up causing more anxiety. I would save it for stressful events or only take it with or after a heaping quantity of pre and an intense lift.

My advice would be to try it for a week and try to document changes you notice. For most there will definitely be less "noise" but like I said, this tends to taper down over time. If cortisol is your concern I would look into legit Tongkat. I actually prefer Cistanche and think it fits a similar niche to the claims of Ash, without any of the serotonin modulating.

Yeah I already have all this naturally. I got the worse things naturally too. Acne that leaves scars which makes you take accutane and lots of hair which causes in grown hair problems. Pilonidal cyst and hair scars. Unless you literally can’t get it up, you shouldn’t take test.
