    The only people that do shrugs in my gym are the xboxhueg roiders that throw around 5pl8s like it's the empty bar and the tiny guys that couldn't deadlift 315lbs if their life depended on it. No in between.

        That's the thing. The tiny guys never gain strength or size. One of the main offenders of this has been going to the gym for like 2 years, is still skinny, and still struggles to shrug 200lbs despite doing it multiple times a week. If he's having fun, then more power to him (he's also a really chill guy), but I can't imagine spinning my wheels that long for no benefit.

                Because this took place in a class, meaning all the kids were roughly of the same age
                Subsaharan africans hit puberty earlier than europeans, because they did not adapt for a longer maturity period (which is beneficial for brain development)
                Thus, if you have a room full of say 12 year olds, the blacks will be more physically developed than the whites, more full of testosterone (and estrogen) and generally angrier (to say nothing of other violent genetic traits which africans tend to express more than whites)
                And that is why the whites, who are typically not as physically mature at this age, do not fight back against the blacks, who gang up in packs to target one at a time

    Hate the guys you see at gyms that load up big weights and do quarter rep squats, rack pulls with 2" of rom, benches that they bounce like a trampoline.       A heavy diddy matters more than anything for traps and you won't have a strong power clean without a heavy diddy anyway.
      Shrugs are literally moronic if you don't already have a very advanced diddy. And they're especially moronic if you're not doing them at like 125%+ of your diddy. They have to be done extremely heavy. But they basically shouldn't be done.
