The average persons willpower is fucking pathetic

Started these about 2 months ago, decided to start a tolerance break a couple days ago just so I start feeling something from them again. Went from ~60mg nic a day to 0, and it’s not even that bad.

It just got me thinking, the fact that so many people can’t even quit cigarettes when they’re literally giving them cancer is crazy. People are fricking pathetic.

true. Drugs are for people who hate themselves. Especially weed (though I lowkey use it to help me enjoy normie bullshit like themeparks)

      This is exactly why

Vaping is relaxing, not unlike nailbiting or thumbsucking or anything of the sort. Because of that, it's really ez to form a habit out of it, and that habit can lead to psychological addiction.
Like, it's not even about the nicotine. At a certain point the vape pen might very well not even contain any nicotine, and you'll still vape because the action itself is comforting.

Dose speed. Inhaling has quicker administration vs other methods. Cigarettes are the quickest up and down, part of the reason they're so addictive.

The physical addiction to nicotine is completely negligible compared to the mental addiction to smoking cigs. When I still smoked, I'd regularly "quit" for a couple of weeks in order to reset my nicotine addiction and enjoy cigs more.

Kek this. Every "addiction is fake" gay still uses the substance in question every time.

Is everyone that takes an addictive substance in either relapse or recovery from that point forward?

I guess, even if it sounds a bit dramatic I will always crave a cig every now and then, but it's not the end of the world

I had same experience with a vape. Never touching nicotine again. That thing was strong man. It immediately made me feel dizzy, which was nice, but then the nausea was extremely unpleasant. I went to bed for a couple of hours before I started feeling better. Was your case similar?

Whoever thinks nicotine is positive in any way its a fricking stratospheric moron. Stop trying to sound manly, nicotine literally makes you stupider by constricting blood vessels of your brain.

Non-Scandis discovering nicotine patches but in the girliest form possible (no tobacco low dosages) is very funny.

Try going from roughly 300g a day for a year+ to nothing for weeks and see if there's no withdrawals before you chudpost about le willpower (I did).

Just read this book. It’s witchcraft. You read the book, continue smoking whole
You read it and by the end of it you don’t even want to smoke anymore.

You've only been indulging 2 months. Your body hadn't had time to develop the capacity for actual withdrawal.

quitting is hard because most people who use have built 5+ years of habit into their use. use while driving, use to relax, use while writing reports, use in a sporting event, use while gaming, whatever. a lot of your life becomes associated with your drug use..thats why its hard to stop. not just because you feel uncomfortable physically for 4 days

Cigarettes are uniquely addictive though. I've never been a smoker, but I used to use nicotine gum a lot and I've never had a problem. Cigarettes are full of other chemicals and the filters are made of fibrous plastic, that when heated, creates sharp particles of plastic that create microtears in the lungs causing the nicotine to be absorbed by the bloodstream quicker.
