I agree that forcing humans to become as close to god-tier physical health as possible would result in a healthier society overall but honestly, given human rights (not gonna debate that rn), I think the best solution is just to do to mcdonalds and oreos as we did to cigarettes and the fact we haven't done so already is insane. I've been thinking this for a while. It's the age of cínics but they try to earn as much money as possible instead of just being homeless. The end result is everyone being useless and as much a burden as possible to "the man" which is just society. Emergency responders that hang up on you for yelling at them while grandma is dying on the living room carpet. No one wants to be the only dumbass giving 100% to try to salvage civilization.

The idea of national citizenship is a crude manipulation technique that prays on the human instinct to belong to a group, a team. You have to put on your big boy pants, step outside of that conditioning, and reject "national" thinking

This is only true if the nation is divorced from the race. It's very difficult to not be swept up into national sentiment - see post 9-11 America - because all of human group psychology evolved in the context of tribal social organization to benefit your distant relatives in the tribe. It's why morality developed in the first place, as a tradeoff between the evolutionary fitness of the individual and the fitness of the whole tribe. Nationalism is a very deep running groove in the psychology of humanity. The obvious way to deal with it is not to try to coordinate all of humanity at once into ignoring their instincts, but rather to turn their instincts to the benefit of humanity.
