it's true. it's a story he tells for laughs. there was SOME level of drug testing in his pro days but it wasn't random or particularly thorough. I would guess they pretty much just made sure your T level wasn't "too high", so all you'd have to do is come off the sauce in time before a contest so your T level would crash into the natural range.
