I get that you're criticizing it as a fatty cope, but I'm BMI 16 and saw immense improvements on my lifts just bloatmaxxing. It's not all muscle gains. Hell, most of it is probably fat and water weight, but I'm swinging 40% heavier dumbbells from SamSulekmaxxing by taking on board twice my TDEE in cereal and chocolate milk. I shit massive bucketloads two or three times a day all while weighing less than 50 kgs. (That's a lot of poop weight, too)
